Diss & District Rotary Club Description
Like all Rotary Clubs, the Rotary Club of Diss & District has a social programme & organises fund raising activities.
There is a strong emphasis on personal service to the community. Through vocational projects, the club members support employment development, literacy & numeracy training as well as many other educational & enviromental initiatives.
The club was established in 1947 & now has a membership of approximately 60 members. Over the years, excellent contacts have been established with other Rotary clubs around the world.
All Rotary activities are under-pinned with the Rotary international slogan of "Service Above Self".
Enquiries are always welcome from all professionals & business leaders, both men & women, who are intrested in hearing more about Rotary, its aims & activities with a view to applying for membership.
