Time to make a start on those Summer baskets, tubs and pots! We have in stock a wide variety of plug plants and seedlings, ready to be grown on into plants ready for the summer displays. Now is the time to get them potted on and growing on a window sill, frost free greenhouse or conservatory. Then by mid May they’ll be ready to plant up outside.

We have plenty of colourful plants for the garden if you need to fill a bare spot. Spring flowering bulbs, Native(Everlasting) and Hybridised Primroses, Spring flowering Alpines, Hardy Cyclamen and ground cover plants.

This weekend it’s Birdwatch weekend so time to feed the birds in your garden and get counting. Visit the RSPB website and download the information pack to take part. It’s easy to do, put the bird feed out in the garden, come indoors put the kettle on and make a cuppa, then sit and watch out the window. Then for an hour watch the birds noting what you see. The hour you choose to do it is entirely your choosing, then go to the RSPB website click the link and let them know what birds you saw and how many. It’s that easy and plus you’ll learn what birds you have in your garden.

The New Year is just under way and already the garden is showing us early Spring Flowers. We have for sale a stunning selection of Hybrid Flowering Hellebore's, Primroses & Aconites and Snowdrops. All these bursting with colour as the harbingers of Spring to cheer up the last days of winter.
