So decided to give carbon cleaning a try and dr carbon a try with all the good reviews and being priced fair compared to others.

Was mega easy getting booked in and i was booked in with Andrew who called me to let me know he was 20 minutes away on the day. He's a real nice fella who knows his stuff and explains everything to you. Took around 30 minutes for the process and while my car didn't have thick black smoke come out it did kick out some crap with it having only 58k miles. Took it for a test drive and straight away i noticed it was much smoother and still is. No more juddering in lower revs and having to down shift earlier in gears and more smoother throttle response and pulling from a stop. Getting at the moment 7mpg more than i did when i picked my car up from the dealers and did a reset but expecting it to drop but that's still better than i was expecting. After all the nay sayers on the internet im so glad i took the chance and would deffo recommend dr carbon! Will be booking in again next year and get my other halfs car done too.

Just had my M235i carbon cleaned by leon what a top bloke ! My reason for cleaning is more to do with prevention rather than cure as my car isn't exactly into the high mileage yet. No hesitation in booking my next clean for six months time excellent service Highly recommend these guys.

Just Had my bmw 120d treated by doctor carbon today, I had Leon come out to do the service and I must say he is very helpful and knows his stuff, he talked me thru the process and explained how it all worked, took the car for a test drive straight after and it has defo improved the throttle response, it goes more smoothly now where as before it had a flat spot at around 1.5k revs ,now it has disappeared and car is defo more smooth (just came back from another 20 min drive) I would highly recommend getting this done

I think like with all people there was some doubt whether this would work but I have been pleasantly surprised with one car (Mercedes E) that I got another 2 done a week later! (Mercedes C and Audi A3). Leon was awesome and took the time to explain the whole procedure too. The process of engine and dpf clean has given me better performance, smoother gear changes (all autos) and a much more quieter engine on idle. Thanks Leon and the Doctor Carbon Team.

335d Xdrive MY64 140k - had this car from new and have always used vpower so wasn’t expecting much gain - had the carbon clean done and it is noticeably quieter at idle and feels a little perkier and 2mpg increase on my commute



Volvo V70 MY04 160k - use this car for weekend shows etc and being old and second hand had no idea what maintenance it had had etc - massive difference to the idle which was quite lumpy and a deffo improvement in engine response - mpg is similar but only done one 200 mile trip and fully loaded so so far can’t really compare against a proper average



Would deffo recommend for older / high mile cars

Great service was sceptical about this for a long time, so I thought I'd try it out, mainly because I had an egr fault, guy was very informative about the process involved, car feels alot more responsive but need to test mpg on a longer run, mot coming soon as the engine management light was on, and new laws mean it needs to be out to pass 2.0 mondeo tdci, very happy thank you carbon doctor

Fantastic service from Andre. thought I needed dpf cleaning. they checked first and found out it was fine. so just did the carbon clean then said my glow plugs needed replacing. saved me £200 and found the fault. honest guys. would highly recommend. my car will be running like a dream once my glow plugs are fixed!

Booked two cars in with technician Andrew. Brilliant service. Came to our house. Explained the process and kept in touch beforehand with eta so not waiting in unnecessarily. Great results as well. Cars quieter and run much better. Highly recommend

Andrew came and explained what the procedure was as I’ve tried Terraclean before and it made no difference was a bit weary about trying engine carbon clean but he’s a very helpful guy who does that bit extra too. The results, fantastic the automatic gear changes in between was much smoother than before when it would stick a bit, the acceleration from standstill was quicker and overall smoother and also heard the grunt of the turbo was exciting.

After reading so many positive reviews I've had my 1.6crdi done earlier this week, and all I can say is I would never expect such a good results my 63reg done quite high mileage so far its 72k after it had carbon clean it pulls and sounds nearly as it was new, I'm really shocked. After seeing a lot of videos and did a research as well decided to give it a try, e90 320d

It’s been 3 weeks now and what I’ve noticed straight away was that the engine ran smoother then it was before, getting better range on a long run, so defo would recommend, and surly will be coming back once a year!

After reading so many positive reviews I've had my 1.6crdi done earlier this week, and all I can say is I would never expect such a good results my 63reg done quite high mileage so far its 72k after it had carbon clean it pulls and sounds nearly as it was new, I'm really shocked. I would definitely recommend this guys service to anyone.
