Within a week of phoning, the engineer came out and fixed my fridge freezer there and then the same day, very efficient and polite company! Highly recommend, will be using again!
Really shocked by some of the negative comments as I found them efficient and helpful, especially as I was away on holiday when a tenant's washing machine failed. DWS sorted a replacement and it was fitted within the time stated.
Just wanted to say Abbiw Lewis you have given fantastic customer service. From the moment you picked up the phone to the very end. Very consistent throughout the calls and chased up everything for me. I think Abbie deserves a pay rise and recognition for outstanding customer service x

I needed a replacement Sky HD box, it came in two days, I was able to set it up with very pleasant and helpful telephone assistance from Daniel in Technical Support. This is the first time I have had occasion to contact DWS and am completely satisfied.
I have under taken gas work for this company. If you are thinking of using them do it. They deal with their customers very professionally and always aim to do best for their customers.

I have been with Domestic Warranty Shop for about two years for appliance care cover, and they are extremely good to deal with and great communication as well. Our washing machine broke down last year and they replaced it with a new one very quickly. It's the best one we have ever had too. I totally recommend them to anyone.
Had a problem with my washing machine called DW shop and received form to complete by email,this was done and response phone call same day from company which the job had been passed to who were brilliant, managed to get cancellation so next day service.
Excellent customer service. Faulty appliance replaced very quickly.
Very good company to deal with. Are very prompt on calling an engineer out and replacing the item if it is not realistically repairable.
There is also reassuring communication from the agents when a claim needs to be made.
I have had no problem with having an item replaced. (New for old )and if they can not locate a new like for like model they will either replace it with an equivalent or a cash value.
They also charge a much lower price monthly cover than rival companies.

They are fine but I don't like it when you need a repair they ask you to pay off the remaining premiums for that appliance before they sanction the repair.I understand no more money is taken until the new term starts but it's not always possible to find the money its the only thing i don't like in the early years this was not done otherwise prices are reasonable
Dws is really good and reasonably priced. They are very accommodating with any repairs and organise them as quickly as they can , however they do not replace with " like to like" , it's as close as they can get at the time and they do not replace "old for new" , you get a reconditioned appliancement The customer service was good but after complaining that I was paying more than was advertised for their full premium cover, which was unlimited items in the household (my plan covers 9) I was informed that a customer advisor would contact me to review my plan and what I'm paying. Still waiting .............. After visiting their online site it also claims that for the full premium cover you get up to £2000 per year of cover and up to £700 per item per year so why are we getting reconditioned appliances ? My tumble dryer was only 2years old and I got an older reconditioned one to replace it ???? Make sure you get what they advertise and for the price they are advertising.
phoned about 2 weeks ago was emailed a application form, and received a phone call today was offended as was hinted my cooker was broke before taking cover I mean why else might you take out cover maybe because its getting old and the chances of it breaking down are greater!!! and told to email documents that have nothing to do with my claim all I can say is maybe send engineers out when taking cover to check if appliances are working to put your mind at ease should be a clause. hope after you receive the documents u can fix my oven... very bemused customer
I have a washer which I noticed change in noise when spinning about 3 weeks ago I thought might be bearing so I left it for a bit to make sure as I didn't want charging for false call out so when I rang last week to report it I was asked for details and model number I was told was inside door I explained machine was on so she sent form via email to fill in number etc next day I got email stating my direct debit has been cancelled and they have rejected my claim when I looked on email she had put I said washer had not worked for 2 months witch was not the case as it was working while I was on phone that's why I could not give number so I rang to complain and was told it was rejected because I didn't report it with in 7 days like I said I was honest about the slight noise change but wasn't sure and if I called them out and nothing wrong I would have got charged they bang on the phone about FRAUD then encourage you to lie and say it happened within 7 days or they won't honour the policy so now I have no insurance and a shot bearing.take my premium tell me if I claim I have to pay remaining premium up before they will come out then cancel the insurance direct debit and reject my claim surely this isn't right is it????
Experiencing similar lousy and totally shabby service from them also, same situation as Beverley Hezzell . They take your money quickly enough but when it comes to getting some service or some help when the machine goes wrong - well ITS CALLED NEXT TO USELESS. AVOID at all cost. Worth paying couple extra pounds for a proper company.
Tried to ring these people today to complain at customer services and when they didn't like a complaint they terminated my call. OUTRAGIOUS. Told me to ring claims department!! Obviously they don't know the meaning of customer service! Again avoid at all cost.
Awful service. We have been waiting for a month for our washing machine to be fixed and we are still waiting. They keep promising the engineer will contact us but it never happens. This is the worst service we have ever experienced from an appliance insurer.
Avoid I was asked to pay up my premiums for the year in order for an engineer to come out to my machine. Which would total more than getting someone out. Needless to say cancelled my policy's they are a total joke
Absolutely fuming!!!!!! Reported a problem with our American fridge/freezer. Was given the most stupid phone advice, which of course didn't work. Eventually told an engineer would come at 12pm today. Instead got a text saying our appliance was condemned due to rusty pipes and a leak! Engineer didn't even come and look at it. Called I'm sure, and they said the engineere had told them he had seen said appliance!!! Still waiting for a resalution! Friendly customer service, but that doesn't help our predicament!!!! Absolute joke, my blood is boiling at the sheer incompetence of this company.
