We are delighted with our New Franke Coffee Machines ...our Original Machines, which served us well for 10 years, gave up the ghost and are now in the Coffee Machine Graveyard!! Wow! Not only great location and friendly staff but wonderful food too! Expected the cafe to provide good basics such as hot drinks and sandwiches but was totally over the moon to see fab gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options too. I had the spinach, potato, mushroom and feta bake with salad which was gorgeous! Very filling and great value. Did not have room for cake afterwards but glad I opted for a takeaway portion of the vegan gluten free blueberry and almond cake which is heaven on a plate! The kids loved the bakewell slice and Norfolk shortbread too. Will be back during my week in Norfolk without a doubt! Puts most of the cafes in London to shame with its variety and quality.

Wonderful location, great idea with the dog houses, superb food, great value for money and friendly staff. A must if you visit Winterton :)

We visited the cafe several times over the week, and found it very good. The staff work really hard as it can get really busy. We had breakfast there and can recommend it, as would I recommend the cakes. After a nice walk on the beach, it's just the job.

We love it been coming a few years now and every year it gets better and better. Don't be put off by naff people who find silly things to be negative about the cakes are huge food amazing value for money, as for coffee in a paper cup probably a one off what about the expensive crap in a cardboard cup u get from Starbucks etc etc. Don't be put off by the odd negative u see try it yourself you'll love it.

It was one of our favourite places to be on our trip to Norfolk. Well done to the owners and staff we look forward to another visit when we return next year. ­¤æŹ­¤æŹ

Visited this busy little cafe yesterday with our family. Really good experience. Staff were friendly and the food was excellent. Many thanks.

Lovely place. Lovely people. Thoroughly recommend the scones! Yummy!

I had a lovely visit here today with my daughter, we had delicious soup and baguette, then a walk on the beach with the dog followed by tea and gorgeous cakes. I was so pleased to be able to visit as when I tried in the summer a very officious person in the car park booth refused me entry in my micro camper as I had gas bottles on board. She quoted the infamous and intensely annoying ' health and safety' clause, even though I assured her the gas bottles were very firmly turned off.

Today the very nice lady in the booth admired my camper and let us in with no problem . I am glad I made a second attempt to visit and know it is not your car park but perhaps you could have a word ? I should like to make a return visit.

Had a delicious gluten free steak & ale pie with mashed potato, mushy peas & gravy. The gf pastry was crisp & tasty.

The Dunes is on a wonderful beach, staffed by lovely people, serving great food & drink. My only reservation in recommending it to other people is that I donŌĆÖt want it or the beach to become so overcrowded we canŌĆÖt get in!

My wife & I have been holidaying in Hemsby & Winterton-on-Sea for about 12 years & only visited here today for the first time....we will be back.



We will be driving 3 hours to get here to enjoy the beach & the cafe & driving the 3 hours back in the day in the future for days out - itŌĆÖs really that good.

higher quality cafe then you might expect, wide range of good food, cakes are delicious. dog friendly, right by a lovely beach. very friendly and helpful staff. not the cheapest but worth spending the extra on

Had a lovely snack at the caf├® today after coming to see the seals. Was delicious, would definitely come back. The only bad thing would be there aren't enough seats indoors for everyone but that's it!

Great dog friendly cafe right on the beach. Excellent homemade food. Has a number of colourful ŌĆ£doghousesŌĆØ outside to sit in and eat when the weather is bad. There is other more conventional outside and indoor seating. Really friendly and helpful staff. Parking right next door.
