Due to continued growth we are looking for a Multi-trade/ General builder specialising in Bathroom and Kitchen installations to join our team, operating within Somerset and Dorset.
The individual must have outstanding customer service and a right first time attitude with an emphasis on a high quality finish, taking pride in their work.
The role will be dealing with internal/external repairs, renovations and home improvement projects from start to finish. In addition to plumbi...ng and kitchen and bathroom installations, you will have skills and experience in carpentry, painting and decorating, tiling and general construction operation.
Criteria -Working knowledge of building and/or housing environment. -Able to deliver excellent customer service (essential) -Relevant City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications/or qualified by experience. -Full, clean driving licence -Must be able to provide a portfolio of completed works or references. -Must have own hand tools (larger tools or specialist equipment will be arranged when needed) -Basic working week of 40hrs mon-fri occasional overtime as and when required. -Salary:£25k - £28k + Holiday: 4weeks +bank hols

THIS WEEKS CHALLENGE !!! Serious mould and damp issue in this extension. Built only with a single skin wall, no insulation. No breathing space. Containing a bathroom is not a good idea. Continuous production of moisture and no where to go. Mould growth, damp and some shoddy building work. Stay tuned for our fix up videos and photo updates.

So today’s main activities have been completing the roof for the hot tub gazeebo and having a good’ol clear up/tidy up of the surrounding area. Just got the trellis side panels left to be made and fitted along with hand rails/ drinks bar.
