We have been lucky enough to receive a HUGE donation of Lego cards from Sainsbury's
We have decided what better way to share the generosity than to hold a Lego Card Swap Shop Event - with FREE entry!
Please get sharing this event!
Sainsbury's have very generously donated a LOT of Lego cards to us!
So, we've decided what better way to celebrate this generosity than to invite everyone along to a big Lego card swap shop event! Everyone is welcome!
Tickets are FREE - all we ask is that you get your free tickets from Eventbrite so we can keep track of numbers.
... There are two time slots to choose from: 12:00-1:00 OR 1:15-2:15
Please only choose tickets for one time slot to allow as many people as possible to attend.
Please select tickets for all attendees - including childen and parents/carers (we need to know numbers for health & safety purposes)
We also have lots of Lego books available, so can help out if you're new to Lego cards and still want to take part!
Don't worry if you're short of swaps - we will have lots available on the day for you to choose, with small donations suggested (any proceeds go to Dyslexia Sparks).
We look forward to seeing lots of you there!

We are planning ahead to our next Teacher Training event and would like your input on what would suit you best in terms of what day of the week/time we deliver the next training session - please help us by casting your vote below ๐
Yesterday's training session with primary teaching staff was a great success!
We thoroughly enjoyed meeting the teaching staff who attended and helping them to build their understanding of dyslexia and develop their skills at supporting dyslexic learners.
Details of our next Teacher Training event will be published soon, but in the meantime feel free to get in touch if you're interested in finding out more about how you can develop your skills.
What a lovely evening at our charity shopping event hosted by Druid's Kitchen - thank you to everyone who came to support us ๐๐
Tonight is THE night! Looking forward to seeing you all there Druid's Kitchen ๐
Not long to go! Hope to see lots of you lovely people there ๐
An interesting read...
Great to see funding has been gained and this programme has been secured by KIDS to support older Autistic learners ๐
This is a great step forwards in supporting all dyslexic learners.
All teaching staff need to take a look ๐
So...last week was a hard slog, but we are now in our new premises and excited to begin working in this fantastic new space!
Centre 88 offers plenty of unrestricted parking in a large, private car park - this is something which we know is going to help make visits to us so much easier.
We are also looking forward to having a peaceful, quiet teaching space to work in so that our students can fully focus on the content of their lessons.
... We look forward to welcoming you all to our new centre soon!

Do you want to develop your ability to support Dyslexic learners in the classroom?
Previous participants at our Teacher Training report that the training enabled them to understand Dyslexia better and helped them to explore & develop strategies to support Dyslexic learners.
Here's some of the positive feedback we've received:
... โReally made me think about how I can support dyslexic learners better.โ
โImaginative use of resources, with hands-on activities.โ
โI found it very helpful in enabling me to think about how a dyslexic child sees things.โ
โFantastic session, very interactive.โ

What an amazing place, such lovely people who truly make a difference to our children. They are always there to help with advice and support. We are so thankful we found you all and will be forever grateful to Sam for the hard work and invaluable input into our daughters education. Thank you
Jane is excellent and my daughter benefits greatly x
Jane is an excellent teacher and my son benefits greatly from his weekly lesson. Mary and the admin team are super too. Dyslexia Sparks really engages with its clients in a fun way e.g the new logo design and awards evening. In fact the whole teaching year has been rewarding on many levels.
Great support and service. Mary and team are si knowledgeable, professional and supportive. From initial enquiry, to diagnosis and report and now tuition. After almost a year of trying to get further, I only wish I'd found them sooner! Great support to both my daughter and us as a family. Highly recommend.
