We had an interesting time in King’s Lynn last week. There’s a new film adaptation of David Copperfield being made and part of it was filmed in King’s Lynn. Set building took 2 days followed by 2 days filming and it was all done very close to our office so we were able to see what was going on. On Friday afternoon after work we had a chance to see some of the actors and extras. We caught a glimpse of Dev Patel (David Copperfield) being bloodied up by a make-up artist for a fight scene. It was all very interesting and we thought you might like to see some of our photos. The film is called ‘The Personal History of David Copperfield’ and is directed by Armando Iannuci and the film will be released in 2019.

The hot hot summer is just a memory now (hopefully more sun to come this weekend though!) so here are a few photos from our sunny Eastbourne tour in July.

We had a fantatstic time in Austria which I hope you can tell from these photos! I must admit I did take loads, it was difficult not to! The scenery was beautiful and the weather was perfect. Every day was a highlight. Apple Strudel at the top of the mountain in Bregenz, Tyrolean evening right near the hotel, cable car to the glacier in the Kaunertal and on the free day we went up the amazing Valluga cable car! And to top it all off it was the village festival on the last night too! Trish

So, as promised here are a few photos from our recent holidays. These pics are from our Mystery tour in May which stayed near Kidderminster. The excursions included a carpet factory, cheese dairy with tea and cake, boat cruise on the River Severn, Ludlow, Shrewsbury, the Cotswolds and a lunch on the way home!

We hope you are enjoying this lovely weather! For once it feels like we are actually having a summer! We will be putting some photos on soon from our recent holidays, it's been all go here just lately (which is good!). Here is a photo Pippa took whilst in Burford - beautiful!

I was so pleased to go back to the Isle of Man this year, it is such a special place. The beaches are beautiful, the people are so friendly and the scenery is stunning. What made it so nice was the fact it was so quiet and nowhere felt rushed. Trish

User

I'm just back from a couple of tours, the first one being this fabulous tour based in Valkenburg. We had fabulous weather so it was great to be able to go out for a walk after dinner. Our excursions include Maastricht with a cruise on the Maas, beautiful little Monschau, Aachen and Ghent. A lovely leisurely holiday! Trish
