Jacob is a very brave 10 year old, who sadly lost his baby sister, shortly after his mum gave birth. He is doing a superhero charity abseil to raise money for “Bradford Hospitals Charity”. Ye Haaaa! It's Friday Folks. Your nearly there....it's nearly the end of the week. Just to let you know that we are working on our next Rhyme Bag. Yes you've guessed.......BABY SHARK DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO!
Yes I have been singing it all week and you will be too, now I have reminded you all.

Our Superhero Cape Cape and Mask has been used to support many areas of learning in various settings. Here are just a few I have introduced
1. "Alphabet Detective" S, A, T, P, I, N
Hide objects with corresponding to the letters around your setting. For example S for spoon, sponge, snake. The children wear their capes with "Alphabet detective" and look for the objects that begin with that letter.
... 2. Numbered Capes around the setting, because as we know "maths is everwhere" and can be introduced into all area's of play. Even role play. They could have numbers and dots!
3. Helper of the day. The helper of the day, who helps their keyworker or teacher gets to wear the cape for the whole day. They help counting the children at register time, putting up the morning and afternoon timeline, recite rules of the setting ie; no running indoors, kind hands and feet.
4. They could be used to advertise your business. Instead of hi-vis jackets. Why not have Hi-vis capes.
5. Mark Making Superhero. Do you sometimes struggle to get the boys to mark make? Not with a mark making superhero cape you wont! Or "Super Writer" if you prefer.
If you make learning fun, children will want to learn!
