How many likes / shares can we get for our amazing Carers who have given up their family time this Christmas to care for all our clients? They ( our Carers) ensure our clients are cared for and thier care needs are met. And, each and everyone of our amazing Carers just want to bring happiness to those we care for. Today, Empathy Care has received two phone calls from Social Workers asking if we can accommodate new packages of care. Both went onto say “you were my first point of call” When I asked why, one said “you look after another service user of mine and they speak so very highly of you”. She went onto say, “I was with the (service user) a week ago and your paper work and care plan is amazing. It details so much information. I only wish other service providers would be the same” The other Social Worker said; when I asked why we were your first point of call, “I have heard great things about you, and you do it (delivering care in the home) properly, as it should be”…………… Just saying!

An Empathy Care Carer was having a conversation with a client a few nights ago. They were talking about Norwich City and how the client had always followed them but never got the chance to go to Carrow Road. He went on to say “I would love to go and watch a match but I doubt I ever will now”…. Wrong!...... Tickets booked and it’s off to the football we go. Its these little “extra mile” things we do that makes a real difference to people’s lives….. Just saying!

So very rewarding to have an Admiral Nurse (Community dementia) call you up to ask for any brochures or flyers you may have so she can give them to people who need dementia care, with her recommendation. The reason she called? Because she keeps hearing great things about Empathy Care and the fantastic work we do with those who suffer from dementia............. Just saying!

So, you visit a client on the last call of the night and he is grumpy, had a bad day and not in a good place. His wife said "he has been unbearable tonight". So, you turn on the charm, crack a few jokes and leave him smiling and laughing. And the cherry on the cake, he says "thank you, you have really cheered me up"......... Awesome!. That's why we do the job we do. Making a positive difference to people's lives. Empathy Care's carers are pretty damm good at it..... Just Saying!

Another fantastic testimonial came into the office today.... So proud of our amazing team.
My daughter had a massive brain hemorrhage and was air lifted to Addenbrooks for a 7 hour operation, and over 7 months in hospital before coming home. She is at present unable to walk and all the carers have been extremely kind, caring and cheerful, giving every care (including shaving her head for her). Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. They are very adaptable when she has appointments, the carer even came in before 5am the day she went to Addenbrooks for her crainioplasty operation to get her up and ready. I have known a lot of carers, but none better than these. I cannot praise them enough and would recommend them highly to anyone. My daughter wholeheartedly agreed with all I have said. Empathy Care have been looking after my grandad for around 6 months now, he has the later stages of dementia, they have been fantastic in taking care of him and going the extra mile to ensure all of his needs are met. Even in the toughest of situations they always deal with it with a smile on their face and nothing is ever too much. Having care experience myself it's lovely to see such a great group of people so passionate about looking after someone who can no longer do it themselves, if it wasn't for them we would be lost, they really know what caring is about what they have done for my grandad will never be forgotten. Empathy Care have been brilliant! All their staff have shown kindness and consideration to my wife who very much appreciates the help that they give her. They are always open to suggestions and willing to alter their practice to accommodate any changes in my wife's needs. We both value their cheerful and friendly approach and feel that they have almost become part of the family. They have always been on time and have endeavoured to be flexible when my wife's medical appointments have disrupted the timing of her care plan. We recommend them to anyone needing care unreservedly.

It's exciting times here at Empathy Care. Jo joined us a few weeks ago and after her Care Certificate training, has been delivering a very high standard of care in the community and the clients all love her. Emily has just completed her Care Certificate training and is out on the rounds with the amazing Carol, who is showing her the ropes and how and why our reputation is driven by our high standards. The business has tripled in size in recent weeks as we have been asked by Social Services and the Clinical Commissioning Groups to provide more care packages. We also have a new office, marketing and recruitment Manager coming on board next month. We could not have achieved this growth without the support of our amazing care team. We are busy, busy, busy and loving every minute of it. Onwards and upwards, happy days

Empathy Care is proud to announce that we have today received official confirmation of our accreditation with Norfolk County Council, in order for us to provide Social Care Services to the County. Many thanks to all those who have supported us, guided us and helped us in our quest for this accreditation.
