I organize English Language and Culture courses in Cumbria, North West England. Learn English and discover the beauty of the Lake District and our historical and cultural heritage.

Online Tuition:
IELTS test preparation for those of you aiming for academic IELTS test band scores of 6, 7, 8 and 9. I focus on the skills needed to do well in writing and speaking. This applies to Cambridge Advanced exam (CAE) C1 level as well.

About Mary Lou:
I am a native English Speaker from England with over ten years experience of EFL teaching. I currently live in Italy and have a good comprehension of Italian. I am TEFL certified and studied English and Italian literature at college. I prepare students for IELTS, Cambridge Advanced and First exams privately and at various schools in the area as well as preparing students online (Skype) in the skills necessary to achieve high level scores in IELTS 7-8-9 and good passes in Cambridge exams.
As well as teaching I run an international website for film students called Reelshow International and have co- authored two books with my husband under the pen name Chelsy Swann.
