Dear ESN buddies,
The UH Study Abroad Office is undertaking research to gain insight into the functioning of the ESN buddy scheme. We are therefore seeking volunteers to participate in a 30-minute interview regarding your experience of the buddy scheme at UH. The results of the study will be utilised in the development of a new online ‘BuddySystem’ platform, which will facilitate the matching of buddy scheme participants at universities throughout Europe. (Please note that ...interviews will be video-recorded).

Hello everyone! ESN Hertfordshire is now recruiting for its 2018/19 Committee and you are all invited to apply!
... No experience is needed - we are looking for motivated and committed individuals, who are excited to get involved and become part of an international community here in Hertfordshire! Full training and introduction to your role will be provided.
The Erasmus Student Network is the biggest student organisation in Europe. We support incoming exchange and international students, promote cultural exchange and integration, and encourage local students to work, study or volunteer abroad.
Throughout the year we organise parties, day trips, cultural events, and a Buddy Scheme where we pair up native and international students. We also implement several ESN international projects here at the University. By joining the committee, you will have the opportunity to go on fully funded international conferences and you will massively enhance your CV!
Positions available are: Vice President, Treasurer, Events Coordinator (x5), Communications Manager, Graphic Designer, Web Projects Administrator and Buddy Scheme Coordinator
The deadline for applications is Friday 2nd March

Hello everyone 🙂 time for another exciting semester at Herts! I will be selling ESN cards outside the De Hav LRC tomorrow (Thursday) from 4-5! They are £10 each for your access to various discounts. It's buddy scheme time again! A great way to meet people from all around the world! All students are welcome and encouraged to apply! :)

*IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EDINBURGH TRIP*
I am sure by now you have all recieved the Invasion itinerary for the trip this weekend. Besides everything else PLEASE remember to bring a valid form of ID (drivers license, passport etc) AND warm clothing! Last year it was freezing and very icy so consider footwear as well for when you are exploring the city!!
The coach will arrive at the Forum bus stop at 1 am (dress warm, bring pillows, blankets and anything else you may want fo...r the coach and the drive up to Edinburgh, not to mention water, soft drinks and snacks.) There will be a member of the committee there to meet you all and help load everything and everyone onto the coach which will leave Herts at 1.30 am SHARP. Please make sure you are all there with everything you need in good time.
Edinburgh is a beautiful and historical city so above all stay safe and ENJOY!
