Without question one of the best fish and chips I have ever been to. Nice environment with friendly staff. I’ll be back whenever I am in the area and make a point of it being part of the trip

Went here for a takeaway for 11 people staying in the area. The food was freshly cooked so we didn’t mind the very short wait. Got the very large order home and everything was spot on! And still very hot. Service was excellent, staff very friendly, and very efficient ! Just one down side - the curry sauce - a little too runny and not very curried,

We came on the Sunday of the bank holiday.... it was really busy but you guys totally nailed it yet again!! I asked for the family platter not knowing you didn’t do it at weekends... and the guy was like no problem we can do it for you. And I have to say it was AMAZING!!!! And really good value for 2 adults and 2 kids. Everyone was very happy!! Can’t wait to come back again in July. We try and come at least 3/4 times a year! We love you Eric’s!! �

We are vegetarian and had the very lovely gruyere and spinach arancini, with our chips done in vegetable oil and mushy peas. Really good. We sometimes buy an extra portion of the arancini to take home! Recommend to all our friends and family visiting when venturing to the west of the county. The lovely farm shop at Drove Orchards has excellent kindling and vegetables and some other shops there too. A great pitstop! Also a loyalty card with free meal after several purchases.

Was passing & we decided to stop for lunch, it was the best lunch ever.

Staff are helpful and polite, food is cooked fresh and there’s plenty.

Some people may say prices but oh high side, but quality of food is AA1.

Our first time here today and the food was lovely. My daughter is a coeliac and loved the gluten free fish and chips. It would be nice if there was a gluten free battered sausage option too.

It really is very good ! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting quality fish and chips

Had my first Eric’s experience today and it didn’t disappoint without a doubt the best cod, chips and mushy peas I’ve ever had! Everything from the crunchy beer battered cod, crispy beef dripping fluffy chips and a banging mushy peas! I managed to steal a bit of my fiancé’s fishcake and curry sauce which was also superb! I will definitely be back and recommending you to all my family and friends! Happy new year ��� x

The staff was great especially Chelsea who was very polite and chatty

Great freshly cooked delicious gluten free fish and chips! A buzzer to tell us when our food was ready for collection. Looking forward to our next visit. X

Delicious lunch the fish was superb and the tartare sauce was as always just the best home made of course. Chips were very very good. Complemented by a glass of Sauvignon and a bottle of beer called Nanny state which was very good also. Back next week ! X

We always partake when we around these parts on holiday. The staff are always friendly, and their fish n' chips are lovely. But, most important, they do Gluten Free, which for my wife makes Erics a real treat. Keep up the good work guys, and thanks.

I’d heard good things about ‘Erics’ so suggested to my Hubby, that we should take a ride over as it was such a lovely evening. It’s a 40 mile trip for us but it was worth the journey as we definitely wasn’t disappointed! The food was served very quickly, all piping hot and a good portion size. The restaurant was very clean and well presented and the staff were helpful, efficient and friendly! The bill was a tad more than we would normally pay for ‘Fish & Chips’ but we didn’t mind as we enjoyed every mouthful. We will definitely return again when we’re visiting the coast another time....it’s highly recommended!!!

It's really a shame for any other fish and chip shops that aren't in the North East of England !!! You have quite a standard to live up to really !!! We are from the North East and were in Norfolk for holidays and found this place. Was very nice ...however .... we live next to the third best chippy nationally so that's very hard to beat !!! Very nice area.... friendly staff .. food was good

Had takeaway fish and chips from Eric's at Christmas when we stayed in Thornham and really enjoyed them. Was in the area on Saturday and thought we would have some more of your lovely fish and chips. How disappointed we were. Very greasy and tasted at best average. For the above average price we will not be visiting again. Such a shame.

On arrival looks like a nice place, but poorly managed at busy times. Order took 50 minutes for 5 portions of fish and chips. Not even good value as cost £30 - almost twice what we paid at our last place. Lots of angry customers!
