Following the request for comments on the parking proposals, we have responded with the letter below.
The Village Hall Committee are looking for someone who would like to volunteer as Secretary. If you have some free time and could help support, we’d love to hear from you.
Happy New Year from all of us at the Village Hall! Thank you to everyone who supported last nights party, to those that made it happen and to everyone on clear up! It was great to get lots of people together and the money raised will support Essendon’s new defibrillator.
We authorised our first on line bank payments this morning, which means we no longer have to do everything by cheque!

Thank you to Carl and other members of Potters Bar Life Saving Club who came along and donated their time to teach life saving skills at our event yesterday. Approximately 20 people were there from the village. The prior experience of those attending ranged from no previous CPR training at all, to those confident with CPR wanting to learn more about AEDs (aka defibrillators). More news soon on the AED plans for the village and future dates for CPR/AED training.
Great opportunity to come and learn some life saving skills!
