We had a fab time at the @madeinbedford #springartisanfair today. Highlights were: #gf @pijatzasnacks , luscious lemon and lime drizzle cake from @doghousekitchen - always amazing! My absolute favourite coffee from @wooden_hill - made even better with gold sprinkle, and a crafty ceramic workshop with @potsoffun We had lots of lovely chats with our favourite artisans, makers and friends too. In...cluding, but not limited to, the following: (Please check out their pages and give them a like and a follow. They all really deserve it) 💕😀👏 @minimapmakers @littlejemskitchen @the_little_treat_stall_ @ritaromanojewellery @katielallen @darrenrosephotography @taliagilesart @mammattorganics @nikkitapdesigns @handmadeilluminatedsigns @kapelkiart @raspberryshedglass @ Bedford Corn Exchange

We’d popped in today to attend an event that was unfortunately cancelled, however Anwyn made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed making bath bombs instead. Coffee and cake was delicious and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Lovely shop with lots of unique items for sale and lots of different workshops on offer, a great way to spend a few hours.

This morning I went to a macaron workshop with Anwyn, and I can't recommend it enough! Went away with an amazing, tasty bunch of macarons (which I might not share) as well as how to make curd, and the trick to a fabulous butter cream. Anwyn is warm, friendly and accommodating. Book yourself on now!

Thank you so much for my lovely bouquet of flowers and button holes you made. They were so perfect for my wedding

Lovely lovely lady, thank you again. I can't recommend you enough xx

Thank you for a lovely bath bomb workshop tonight at the beautiful Hitchin Lavender. I enjoyed learning about all the scents and oils.

User

Such a lovely way to spend a morning, eating cake, good friends and company and the fabulous Anwyn showing us all how to make beautiful paper flowers.

User

Really enjoyed paper flowers workshop as part of the series of art workshops at the Basement @ Bunyan. Thanks Anwyn.

LOVE LOVE LOVE - You have the patience of a Saint. The Bath Bomb party you did for Molly and her friends was brilliant. Your attention to all the small details is just one of the many attributes you have. You cater for any age, and abilities. I'd like to go on all of your work shops!

Just have to tell you about Anwyn's macarons. Honestly, I've never much liked them!! I came hope the other day to a surprise get well gift of 6 raspberry macarons kindly delivered and made by Anwyn. How lovely, how thoughtful, better try one out with a cuppa.....omg scoffed the lot and now a total convert! But only to Anwyn's. I advise everyone to try one!! at least

If you ever get the chance to go to an Evie and Lola workshop then I strongly recommend that you go. Lovely 'crafty' items WILL be made by you and everyone there AND you will have fun while doing it! My own proud moment comes from making paper flowers that I have in a little vase on my fireplace... I am a total physical nightmare, with no patience, so for me to make and actually show these is a big deal. Topped off with the comments I've had from some of my family visitors about them! Go for it, and if one isn't running that you want then ask Anwyn what is possible.

I'm not an arty/crafty person and I loved making the paper flowers, Anwyn was very patient and supportive and my flowers looked great. My daughter can also highly recommend the bath bomb workshop and made some fabulous bath bomb shapes. Thanks Anwyn, will be booking another workshop soon!

I was just strolling through Church Arcade hoping to browse through the shops in town, when by chance I came across this wonderful little pop-up shop. Good value for money at £6 per workshop, for which in addition you get a hot drink and a cake included in the price. I really enjoyed learning how to sew a mini heart cushion, and having been inspired by my new sewing skill I am currently in the process of sewing a special cushion as a gift for a friend's upcoming wedding. I recommend Evie and Lola to anyone who wishes to learn new craft skills and to meet new people. Thank you so much!

I had a one to one macaron class in Anwyns lovely kitchen. Great teaching, everything supplied, and I came away with perfect 'home made by me' macarons. Lovely relaxing afternoon, time for tea and chatting too xxx would make a wonderful gift xxx

I did a beaded bracelet workshop with Evie & Lola and loved it. The materials were first class, and beautifully presented. The tuition was great, and brilliantly pitched to my skill level (zero!). Cake and wine made it even better! Would really recommend it to any skill level for a fun, sociable time.

I attended a macaron session with Anwyn after tasting her own amazing macarons! It was a really fun afternoon, very relaxed, lots of chat as well as great teaching. I've been to quite a few different workshops now and Anwyn is one of the most patient people I know; she explains things clearly and encourages lots of questions. The macarons were surprisingly straightforward once you know how and the finished result was demolished in about a minute once I got home by the kids and my husband! There are lots of different flavours to experiment with and I'm always getting badgered to make them now! I'd really recommend the workshop, and in fact, any of Anwyn's workshops if you want a relaxed, fun approach while learning something new. A great bit of 'me time!'

User

I absolutely love everything about this business. The crafts themselves are hugely enjoyable but more than that, the social aspect of getting together with a group of friends and doing something that little bit different is fantastic. Anwyn breaks down the instructions so simply even I manage to follow!I've done a few sessions now and am looking forward to booking on to the macaron class.

Had a great afternoon crafting crystal bracelets. I am not a crafty person AT ALL but I came away very pleased with my ladder bracelet! Thank you Anywn - you are very patient!

Can’t wait to give Rich his Macarons tomorrow - they look amazing! Thanks so much

Bathbomb Workshop!

Thoroughly enjoyed by four 11/12 year olds! (and me!) The two hour workshop was great fun! Step by step instructions as well as guidance from Anwyn made the whole morning easy and enjoyable! Home made brownies, milkshake and lemonade topped off a fab morning. We left smelling beautiful and each girl came home with at least 4 bathbombs each. Would thoroughly recommend for adults and children alike.... a girlie night with a glass of wine would work perfectly with these kind of workshops and it would equally suit a childrens party!!.Was a great gift, enjoyed by all! Sorry for all the mess we made in your house Anwyn!!
