Stocking your first aid box with homely remedies can be really low cost (often even cheaper than shown here). Come into the Millwood Surgery to see our self care display with great examples of items to keep in and plenty of advice on helping yourself with minor illnesses and conditions.

Prescribing of Medicinal Cannabis
The first of November 2018 sees a change in the law that is intended to make it easier for epilepsy specialists to prescribe cannabis oil in a small number of patients without the need to apply for a special licence from the home office. Nothing else has changed.
Medicinal cannabis products are not available from your GP.

Access to Falkland Surgery and Roadworks - Important We have received a call from Essex and Suffolk Water today to inform us that the roadworks to put in the new water main on Beccles Road is running ahead of schedule.
Beccles Road will be closed between Primrose Way (the turn in for Falkland Surgery ) and the traffic lights at Lords Lane (Lloyds Pharmacy) from TOMORROW 3RD OCTOBER.
... To get to the surgery from Bradwell you will need to approach from Sun Lane. Approach from Belton should be fine. The surgery is also accessible from Bunnewell Ave on foot.
We have been advised also that the Primrose Way junction should be open, however this depends on the speed with which they cross the junction opening. It may be that the junction is open half way for a few days, so please use caution.

We've had a very good experience with Falkland Surgery today. Medication on board and hopefully feeling better soon. Huge thanks to you all ÔøΩ

TBH the last however many times I've been I've actually seen doctors that are not my own they are covering and they've all been absolutely fantastic

User

I have been a patient here for many years and cannot thank the staff enough as each and everyone of them does an amazing job under pressure with all the cuts on the NHS at the moment. Dr Perry is my allocated GP and I have been very lucky to have his support over the many years and I know that he runs late some of the time but that in my opinion is the sign of a good doctor. In the Surgery's defence they have struggled to recruit another GP since Dr Penn retired but that is not to do with the surgery it's a general problem across the NHS as today's medical students are being offered better packages to go abroad!

Been at this practice for years and never had a problem. Always helpful and polite staff and Doctors & Nurses ÔøΩ:)

User

Always great care, no problems. Thank you

User

Thank you faulkland surgery. Today was a success. I phoned to get an visit for my very frail elderly father. The receptionist was extremely pleasant to speak to.

Passed on my request to the attending G.P. My father was visited this afternoon by his own Doctor.

Care , concern and continuity. 3/3.

Well Done ÔøΩ

I can’t believe that the doctor was meant to call my Mum to

Give my baby brother who is only 7 months appointment and no body rang so Mum had to ring 111 then he had a fit and Mum had to ring 999 and he had to go in ambulance I think this is so bad not giving a baby appointment when some people go to doctor for everything or fake stuff I don’t think you care about babies to ignore him he also had another fit and went to hospital again and another 3 and he now has Epilepsy.

Mum even done a complaint but nothing got done but she does say Dr Wylie is a good doctor and hope Toby will always see him if she dont change to a new doctors.

Don't know where to start been trying to get my 2 year old an appointment all week to be told no appointments every single time. I rang 111 who said because it isn't out of hours yet nothing they can do till 6.30pm he needed too been seen with in next 24 hours! (they were really sympathetic and helpful otherwise) so rang drs again! No joy...rude receptionists. So so done with this surgery I will be moving myself and my children cause I am sick of it! I will ring out of hours at 6.30 and take them to see a Dr who actually cares!

User

Doctor don't care and call someone with depression fat and make them fell small and I'm nt impressed

User

Can never get an appointment! Ring at 8 and all the appointments are taken up probably by masses of old people with a cold, had a back problem last year kept going to doctors kept being given painkillers and said there was nothing they could do and I was making a fuss. Eventually with a bit of shouting I got an MRI scan, turned out I had a slipped disc! Thanks a lot doctor perry for not recommending me sooner had to have an op and be off work, had endless times off work and suffered disciplinaries because of him. Not happy will be changing surgeries.
