After a full on year of electric guitars, synthesisers, drums and all manner of loud things; this was a lovely change of pace. This re-release coincidently marks my 10 years of working with these fine gentlemen - I started working for Fujiya & Miyagi whilst they were touring this album, since then we've travelled many miles and visited every corner of our small planet.
Even today (despite the thousands of times I've heard these songs) it's honestly still one of my favourite albums - beautifully crafted and extremely organic for an electronic band. It has certainly influenced my own work as a musician... and a producer.

I had the BEST time working on this track from the fantastic Sarpa Salpa - you have GOT to check these guys out!
It was great stretch the old sound design/synth/drum machine muscles. Guitars and electronics are my FAVOURITE thing to do! A musical homecoming for yours truly.

Out and about a lot this month.
Built a new mobile #protools rig recently. Took it out to play to record an #acoustic #folk singer + #choir live in this beautiful #church.
Taking in preamps in from @heritage_audio_sl and @capigear does feel a bit naughty though! 😉 Studio sound on the road - it feels like cheating!
Can't wait for this to be out in the open 👌
