Went with my daughter and 6 week old grandson. Staff fell over themselves to help, and even came to the changing room to collect and store pram. Felt very safe in the baby pool as the guard actually enforced the rules, so he didn't get knocked or splashed by bigger kids, who were well catered for in the big pool with a massive inflatable play area, so that looked like great fun for the older kids too. Will definitely return.

User

We had our twin boys birthday party here yesterday, we hired out the pool with the large inflatable. The party was brilliant from start to finish, the staff were lovely and very friendly, the inflatable was lots of fun and the party host couldn’t of done any more! Will definitely be booking up here again

User

Very friendly people but when going the gym in a morning we need the gym to open in the time that it should be open. Been a few time lately in a morning and there as been no staff there to open up. It's not good when you have to work yourself

User

My boys have loved there swimming lessons this week , dan was brilliant with them and has built there confidence up massively thanks so much to him for that. Reception ladies very nice and friendly all in all we had a great experience here and will be back thankyou

User

I come yesterday to have abit of pampering in Beth’s beauty room she’s lovely and I’m always happy with it . I’ve been a member of shapes about 18months and love it I use the treadmill bikes ect but enjoy the classes aswell thanks to Claire kinsey for introducing me to those and giving me the confidence to go . Unfortunately haven’t been able to go for few weeks health reasons but can’t wait to get back into it

User

I am member form more than a year now. I really love this place, staff is friendly, always plenty of machines and it's nice and cool in there. You can choose between 2 gyms the big one and the small one depends if you prefer it quieter or not. I highly recommend a full membership. You get access to swimming pool, spa and lots of classes.

User

Great value for the day pass - great customer service from Riptide cafe - keep up the good work

User

I liked it because for £5. It was ok. It was unfortunate that on that day we went, the inflatables weren't in the pool. So the kids had floats in the pool. Not quite the same but they said they hadn't got enough staff to man it. Then we went on the go karts. Then tried get on table tennis and badminton but because there was no staff to regulate people. People were staying on the courts and not letting others take turn. So kids had go back on go karts. As it was raining. Crazy golf was cancelled. We had lunch in the cafe and for £2 each it was good. Hopefully next time it be staffed better

User

Paying to park is a rip off. I already pay for my daughters swimming fees at over £40 per month and am expected to pay £1 to park to watch her. It doesn't sound like a lot but if you are there 3+ times a week it tots up. People who are paying club fees should not have to pay parking on top.

User

I went to a dance comp there and the queue for food was horrendous it never went down! The comps wasn't organized what so ever it ran over so late. Didn't know what rooms we were in for what as know one was keeping us informed. Just bad organisation. Other than that parking price was ok and was generally clean. Even though the food wasn't amazing quite a few took theirs back as wasn't cooked properly the staff was rushing because they had such a massive queue and only 1 till open was ridiculous. Lets hope their more organized for next years comp!!

User

I have been coming to Fenton Manor for gym competitions for a few years now. Staff are always polite and helpful and it’s always easy to park.

My only negative is that the staggered seating for competitions is now pretty filthy and really doesn’t smell nice in quite a few areas. When you are sitting at a competition for 6 hours or so this isn’t pleasant. Also some of the seating broke along a row as a group sat down. It was rocking all over the place. It really needs to be checked as a priority.

I hope this was useful.

User

Pre paid car park, pre paid swimming, pre paid locker, still have to pay every time i go swimming. Such a shame its so money orientated.

User

First impressions of this place was a rude Gentleman, who I assume was a life long member of the sporting establishment, told my wife she was blocking the stairs with our pram! The stair way entrance was about 7 feet wide so clearly enough room to maneuverer his fat ass up those stairs (you know who you are)...anyway he was put in his place and rightly so!

The rest of the venue was ok, seating was an issue and queuing for hot drinks but we all had a great day all in all. All I would recommend is for that Gentleman who was rude, is to find a place in his heart to accept visitors every once In a while into HIS club, after all we all paid hard earned cash to do so.

User

We already paid for the ICE event then had to pay for parking ontop!? Then seating was atrocious, no-one manning seating with bags taking up valuable space and no bottoms in sight! £40 paid and nowhere to sit not happy! standing for 7 hours is not funny especially with a 5 year old! To boot the cue for drinks was horrendous, reason given was large numbers attending and staff could only do so much! Why not anticipate this and get more staff in? I was told we could order hot drinks at the bar but the bar staff refused us!

What else can I say!

Door man on ICE event was very nice and did a lovely welcoming job so 5 stars to him :)

User

Very disappointed with Fenton Swimming pool today.

For the last week or so I've been promising the kids that I'd take them swimming today and even booked a days holiday from work to take them.

My motivation was a flyer they have been advertising saying £5 each for swimming, aquarun, go karts, Crazy Golf etc open between 10am-4pm.

We arrive at 11am to be told that we would only have 30 mins in the pool as it's adults only from 12 till 1pm.

Why advertise an unlimited pass promising to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays and then close it for adults only during the times advertised?

Very disappointed!

User

The cafe area is a joke. My first visit to get a costa was 15 deep in a queue. I turned around and returned later. I was second in a queue, still took me 10 minutes to get a coffee.

I think you need to invest in some staff, and get the existing staff to work at a decent rate of knots. Will not be rushing back here I’ll tell you !

User

Paid 50 quid for lessons to be told that my daughter can’t play for 5 mins in the big pool just mins before her lesson. Absolutely worst place go. Won’t be booking anymore. Said I had to pay just spend few mins in pool.

User

No swimming on a Friday after school 8 kids turn up to be sent away!! Shocking you would of thought there would of been

User

My son, along with a group of friends turned up for swimming straight from school this afternoon (Just before 4pm Friday) to be told there was only 20minutes left in the pool as you were closing the leisure swim!! I think this is very silly move for Fenton Manor, especially for a Friday afternoon! They were hoping to make it a regular thing and have all been very disappointed! A review of your timetable is needed!! As a kid there was nothing we loved more than heading down on a Friday afternoon after school! Yet again, another loss of the youth activities in the area!!
