Mick Needham: Whenever I’m not fishing, I just want to be fishing. This particular picture, I was fishing for carp and tench. The rod on the right, a Rovex Avon Quiver, with a 1.25lb tc, doubled over, my heart started beating, and it was an eel. A spunky eel, roughly 2.5-3lb. Taken on sweet corn. No picture as I unhooked it in the water to save my net.
