What a gem ! Love this place and the vibe and the food! Great discovery ! Will be coming back-)

User

Visited for the first time on Saturday, heard of them via word of mouth. Had a salt beef sandwich, a toasted ham and cheese a slice of lemon and honey cake and some cookies to take away all very delicious if a little pricey but worth it for a treat. Will definitely be back.

User

Perfect place for lunch! The food was outstanding!

My husband and I had scrambled eggs with bacon on sour dough bread. It was delicious. The girl taking orders at the till was very slow and my husband waited about 10 minutes in the queue to be served although the food didn't take long to arrive. Went early so plenty of tables. Tables dirty and need to be cleaned as someone leaves. Would go again but not on a regular basis

User

Lovely food, very good service; I got there 11:00 ish and got a table and swift service. It was very busy, ( a good thing) but a bit clatty- were I wanting a conversation it would be difficult. This may have been because of the school holidays. I would nevertheless recommend this place- its worth going out of your way for.

User

Just had pork belly sandwich and a latte, was busy but I'm not surprised as it's Saturday and the range and quality is superb, looking forward to working our way through the range. Got an apple and a bakewell slices for dessert tonight. Can't wait to see what they bring out for Christmas.

I was working locally so thought I would pop in for breakfast. Being a contractor I am more used to a greasy spoon than posh grub. I was a little apprehensive when the waiter said "we make our own beans". I wanted to run out of the door. I thought oh no what have I let myself in for. The waiter asked if I would like sauce with my meal. Of course I said I'll have brown sauce as always. Well the brown sauce didn't get touched there was so much flavour in the food I don't think I would have been able to taste the sauce. I enjoyed every mouthful. All I can say is omfg. In the words of Arnie "I'll be back".

User

I love Flourish. The food is delicious and really great value. It has a great vibe and the staff are brilliant. My only complaint is that everyone else loves it too so it’s often busy and finding a table can be hard. If you’re willing to wait, it’s never dissapointing.

User

Food was fantastic I only had a bacon roll but its the best I've ever had and my hubby really enjoyed he's breakfast .Reasonably priced too .

User

Fantastic hidden treasure - you'll never stumble on this so you have to know it's there. When you find it, you will be blown away by the offering of bread, cakes and sandwiches. I had a delicious breakfast of eggs, avocado and smoked salmon. The only negative was the Redbush tea was tasteless.

User

Brilliant service from ?Matt who quickly and easily amended some of the breakfast meals on the menu to give us vegan options. It was busy but service was really quick and food was delicious!

User

Best carrot/walnut cake I've ever eaten. Great choice of fresh baked bread. Very friendly staff. Would recommend !!!!!

User

Beautiful food, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. We shall return..!

User

Beautiful food and great staff, but like anything that is brilliant value for money and delicious it's popular, I had a few different people tell me about this place before I ventured completely out of the way on to an industrial estate, so be prepared to wait for a table... it's worth the wait though.

User

Went yesterday and it was fairly busy so we had to wait 15 minutes for a coffee then another 25 for breakfast (egg in sour dough with salmon). Food and coffee were good but the wait was disappointing. Will try again another weekend in case that was a one-off. Not as good as the breakfast club in St Albans in my opinion. Staff friendly and nice buzz about it but just didn't fulfil my expectations.

User

I really liked Flourish.. I was not a exactly a regular but have been quite a few times in past few months. Staff were friendly, the French toast with blueberries my favourite! I visited this week... oh my..! Menu has changed with the French toast now coming with pineapple, ginger and walnuts for a smaller portion and lots more money... ! That seemed to be across the board with prices raised. The staff also were different and a different more arrogant attitude (almost rude to the customers in front of me!). They took a clearly popular formula (as always busy) changed it and got greedy! Disappointed!

User

Really disappointed as I’d recommended. My toast was burnt and just wasn’t a nice meal

User

I was very disappointed with the full English breakfast we was served, bacon was extremely fatty, whole plate of food was Luke warm and the toast was so hard we couldn't cut or chew it. Coffee was ok, but nothing special, For £20 for 2 adults I honestly expected more.... Services was good and staff very helpful.
