We went here sunday just gone, it was a fantastic visit food was amazing, service faultless & staff so welcoming & friendly. We will definitely be returning. Myself & partner had the driping burger with burnt ends it was delicious! My daughter ordered the 15 chicken wings & she got more than she bargained for! These wing are full wings not the half wings you get in most establishments again delicious. Our little boy had garlic bread, cheese pizzas & chips no complaints from him either (he is very picky) he rated 10 out of 10 lol.

I did forget the name of the waiter who served us but thank you to him super friendly & attentive! Manager was also lovely so very friendly it really does make such a difference to your visit!

Thanks for the win. Two huge portions of chicken Sunday lunch that neither of us could finish which were very nice. Two different desserts so that we could try both between us, which were equally nice and filling. Coming back again for sure. 🖒

Food was hot tasty and prompt,I was very impressed by my huge 4 stacked burger for only a tenner with fries too ,I liked the building too a comfy pub feel I would definitely return and very pleased that when I do its only walking distance away

Excellent service and staff are excellent too. I made a mistake with one of our meals, I offered to pay again as my fault no one else, but they changed our meal with no problems at all. I would recommend coming here to anyone, plus the food is superb.

Dont normally get a chance in the week but we were off so popped in monday after a weekend away ...lovley as ever and super friendly staff ...always a pleasure to speak to Julie xxx

First ever visit today considering we only live up the road, couldn't ask for more, food was lovely even our 3 year old demolished his plate , told exactly how long it would be for food, not that I was bothered as a massive football fanatic there are screens in every crevice of the establishment, but last of all, the staff were so friendly and happy to help with your sitting, either at the bar or at your table, thank you, we will be back in the near future

Attend quite often and the food is usually great however last two trips my medium steak has been over cooked on both occasions, and today came in following an awful week to cheer myself up, didn’t receive my prosecco shot with my porn star martini and the desert we requested was out of stock. Still enjoy the experience but today was a little disappointing.

Just had refit so clean and tidy. Chose not to eat as there is very little change to the menu still burgers and fatty foods. Couple of drinks only

Went back with the gift voucher that we got as our first visit was so horrendous and this wasn’t much better ... won’t be going again an hour wait for food is just not acceptable

I came with my family on Saturday night from the time we walked in,, there was a mess up with the table they had us on a 21st birthday table ( it wasnt) The blonde hair manager sorted quickly.

Secondly the order was messed we received our meals but one even though it was specifically ordered,, again the blonde hair manager sorted it quickly and adjusted the bill.

Thirdly Attitude of waiting staff very very poor,, when meals arrived we said who they were for staff gave them to different people. We had 2 children under 7 with us and were picking at thier plates,, we were asked several times 'Have they not finished yet' My 7 year old nephew's ball had gone behind the bar he was waiting to ask for it back with his 2 year old sister.. A member of staff came and shouted over to our table which wasnt very far away ' Are these with you' she was very unchild friendly and very rude.

A couple of us left earlier than the rest of the group we were making our way out my 2 year old Niece came to say goodbye. A manager think her name was Naomi? (Blondy/purple hair) was heard huffy and puffing behind me then went and spoke about us to the rude unchild friendly member of staff who made it very clear it was about us how unprofessional..



Its such a shame we have been coming for 7 years + it was a lovely pub ran well etc... if it wasnt for your blonde hair manager and her quick action regarding missing food and sorting our bill out, I would have gave a rating of 1.

Also maybe some ligthening outside at the play area may help..

Went for food yesterday with my family we ordered quite of bit of food and got chicken wings with Tabasco sauce only after we eat are meal did we notice the Tabasco sauce was out of date and the duty manager says it’s fine I’ve got some at home out of the same batch so basically telling us it’s ok to eat out of date sauce be going further with this and will never eat there again �������

Paid for a large burger meal came with a handful of fries, def not worth the money

Just ordered an 8Oz Sirloin Steak! A mistake must have been made though as I was served a size 8 undercooked Armenian tramps flip flop that had been boiled for several hours in a vat of arse fat instead! I would have put a picture on, but it is the stuff of nightmares. If only I was the type of person to complain! The worst food I have ever been served in a licensed premises!

The place used to be packed on a weekend but very easy to get a table,even at 1:30 in the afternoon.



On to the food

My wife had Hunters chicken which she said was ok but could have used more sauce but she did wonder at the amount of chips (7) she got and that was going large,what do you get normal 3 or 4?



My mother had the sunday lunch which she didn't finish as was cold,the mash was dry and the yorkshire like a rock cake.



I had the large mixed grill which advertised in the menu you get an extra gammon,mine came with extra chicken which was like rubber,the gammon itself was dry and cold (as was the rest of the meal) and as for the steak,I wouldn't serve my dog it as it was all fat and gristle,total inedible so I left most of my lunch.



My daughter had a southern fried chicken burger which she said was ok,but you can hardly get that wrong.



All in all I don't know if the management has changed hands or the chef,either way we used to go regularly but won't be returning,judging by how empty the place is I guess alot of others feel the same.

Closed for a week - changes hard to spot and manky toilets have not been touched...where’s the priorities here?? Gave this place the benefit of the doubt when they announced guest (non-green king) ales but yet again the only non green king one was off...for 4 hours! Food average - only cheap price saves it. Healthier stuff has vanished from menu too.

As regular customers at the foxhunters pub we go at least 3 times a month we have just been in to get food for 2 adults and a kid ordered our drinks pepsi, orange juice and fruit shoot. The orange juice was see through and tasted rank! so my partner took it back to ask for a bit more cordial in. Lass behind the bar with a right fucking attitude tried to charge for another drink to add a bit cordial in to a drink that was not right in the first place! So instead of putting a bit cordial in a drink you would rather lose regular customers.. well done �� refunded for the meal and left! Terrible customer service wont be returning
