Think the last time I went to foxhall stadium was when I was about 9 years old, wow what a stadium and a very fast track, the car pulled quick out of the corners and was very fast. Bring on the world final :)

User

The racing was awesome and the car builds were on another level, however if you go on a busy meeting I strongly suggest you get a seat early n don't move, also once in the arena to get back out takes at least half a hour you have to wait in a line to get a voucher which you have to use to get back in..was annoying what's wrong with stamps or wrist bands! Apart from that I urge you to go on a banger world final they are out this world

National hot rod world final banger world final the place has become the place to be at

User

It looks great have a good time

I love foxhall stadium, great track, great food n drink facilities, stadium seating if you need seating, personally I prefer to take a chair and sit on a corner but there's options... There's only one improvement that can be made in my eyes and that's that the electronic score board workin all the time as whilst the racing is on its sometimes very hard to hear commentary... But I love the place!

User

I haven't been for 20+ years until last Saturday night for the 2017 Banger World Final.

How the stadium has changed for the better.

Very good view for spectators.

User

Best equipped stadium I've been to in the UK, and put on a great show. Tidy well maintained facilities and some fast racing. Some of the other very sad looking UK stadiums need to up their game!

User

The world final was good as always best cars lots of action great atmosphere.

The only down side is the stink of weed everywhere not good if you got kids there.

User

The racing is brill as always been going for 30 yrs some improvements have been made some good .when are u gonna use the new turnstiles?or do dome work in the pits?or scrap the old loo block that is clearly past it ?and why the hell have u put extra steps in so they are not wide enough for chairs on the old turnstile bend Deane Wood ask the spectaters and drivers point of view rant over i will not stop going i love that place grew up there i hope u take the time to read these reviews

User

Racing was superb the place was pack as you would expect with this event but it's just a shame about the people smoking weed everywhere you went and the shambles of getting outta the car park 7roes from the entrance and an hour and half to get out and a steward waving a flashing wand whilst getting pissed drinking beer while trying to get everyone one out

User

I was at tonight's meeting (National Hot Rods, Superstox and 2L), I haven't eaten there for a while but was impressed with my choice of chicken and chips this evening so wanted to compliment the new look diner. I'm the first to moan when something's not good so thought I should make a positive statement of the food, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

We look forward to the banger racing and fireworks each year and come with the whole family. However, the disappointing display and racing last night means that we shall not be returning again!! The firework display was appalling and health and safety excuses just don't wash when there was barely any wind!!! The racing itself was spoilt with long gaps between races and a lack of cars meant no action!!! What a waste of money, next year we will be spending our money at arena Essex as I have heard the Firecracker event is a must see with fantastic fireworks.

User

I've been visiting the Nov fireworks at Foxham for 15 years and last night (2015) was the worst for entertainment of them all.

The que's are to be expected, as with any large scale event. The new extended grand stands were also welcome, and help deal with some of the crowds. The walkways underneath then are dangerously too narrow and poorly lit - not impressed.

The worst disappointment of the eve was the decision to stop the fireworks not even 6 minutes in , after a pretty poor display. Now I'm not sure if the stadium management or the hapless firework display 'TEAM' made the decision, but quite frankly the reason to stop the display due to health a safety reasons is absurd. We are banger racing for gods sake, a female driver in the rookie event crashed so hard her poorly fitting helmet fell off !! The fireworks simply were too low, quite possibly due to buget cut backs , but any decent display team would have surveyed the stadium, looked at the wind speed and direction and brought some proper display fireworks like we always used to have. DO NOT RE BOOK THESE LOOSERS.

The very unuaually diminished numbers of bangers were 'racing' for points and nothing else. Non of the usual best turned out car competition and decidedly second hand looking cars. If you bone heads wanna just race then work harder and buy a proper stock car !!

We had no entertainment for the kids such as the guys fixed to the armcos and the crowd freebies we used to have.

Serious decisions have to be made by the management, because this year we had too much take and not enough give I'm sorry.

Have been to Gala night since 2010, 2015 is my last visit as £90 for my family to watch 50p worth of fireworks and not a decent car in sight. Next year will spend my money at Arena Essex for the Firecracker instead, excellent cars plenty of action and fireworks. Goodbye speedworth. The End.

User

Got to the stadium at 3pm so we could get front seats in the family stand. Unfortunately we saw hardly any racing as everyone in front of the stand stood up during every race. I had a very disappointed and upset little boy. I asked/shouted at people to sit down but was just ignored. Why do people have to stand up when they are right at the very front? They just ruin it for everyone else. Very disappointed

User

Went back for the 5th year running and got to say the display last night was the worst thing I've ever seen!!! We spent over £100 as a family and I honestly think we should have demanded a refund! The fireworks didn't even continuously go off after each other for the 2 minutes they were on, they were very boring I could have had a better display in my back garden!! That's how bad it was and health and safety my arse it wasn't even windy! Whoever got 'injured' from a few sparks are wimps and should have just shut the hell up! From the 2 minute firework shit and long gaps between races im never going back!! Next year I will be going to arena Essex fire cracker!

User

The racing was great, but end of night we went back to our cars and mine and my daughter cars had been smashed, they pushed my daughters red vxr forward over a car gap size and then rammed the side of my car, causing damage to my wing, bumper, smashed my front lights my car is a black vectra, if anyone seen anything could you let us know, we sat in the car park over an hour waiting for dean woods to come over has security said they asked him to come and see but no show , we was parked right near the trees in the field on the right has you go in. Someone must of see this happen

User

My first ever visit to Foxhall for a much hyped 'Firework Spectacular'. A long queue to enter (half the turnstiles weren't manned). Expensive to get in at £15 each. Very long gaps between races. Long queues for food and drink (so didn't bother with either). The 'Firework Spectacular' amounted to half a dozen fountains and a rocket. Got cold and bored at 8.30 and left. A very poor value night out, and will choose to spend my Saturday evenings elsewhere.

User

Great nights speedway sound system when in the back straight stand is 💩 no idea on replacements still wondering who was riding at no seven for the comets 💫 , not good when you spend 2.50 on a programme and can't fill it in .
