All groups are walking now. Set off between 8:45 and 9:30. Students will be able to call home once they are back at Freman.

All groups are now finished! Well done to the students, they worked really well all weekend and dealt with the weather in such a positive way! Hopefully the summer expedition is much warmer!

Making great time today - the 1st group have come through Walkern already.

After a good days walking all students did really well and have cooked and put tents up. It is quite cold and windy but they have been in really good spirits all day!

All groups have left and started their walk to Little Wymondley. Fingers crossed the rain holds off!

And then there was movement!

Hopefully the students got some sleep! There’s not many early risers today! Pretty cold and very windy in the night!

Expedition season is here..... The Silver DofE practice expedition is this Friday. A reminder to the students involved that equipment will be given out tomorrow (Wednesday) lunchtime. 1:30pm at the Stable.

Letters for the Silver DofE Award are available from the Library and have also been sent out via School Comms. All students in Year 12 are welcome to sign up for the course. Any questions, please see Mr Dee.

Well down to all students on the Bronze expedition, dealing with the heat and hills really well!! As always, thanks to the staff for coming over the weekend, DofE at Freman would not be as successful without the extra support.

All groups have arrived at the finish! Just coming up the van and we’ll be home! Plans are to come straight back to Freman.

Groups have started to get to the finish now - fingers crossed they’ll all be here within a couple hours. However, Still no idea of arrival, will update before we leave.

Sorry about the lack of updates. All groups were out walking by 8:45 this morning. It’s going to be a warm one but students left in good spirits! Will try to give an eta of arrival at Freman later in the day.

Bronze Expedition this weekend. After the early start, All groups have started their routes and are making good progress so far. Will update when and where possible.

Silver DofE expedition complete. Thanks to parents for collecting students swiftly and for staff for giving up their time to assist in the running and assessing of the expedition. Enjoy a relaxing evening.
