Its so easy, to fall backwards, into old mindsets and crooked thoughts, but, we can break the cycle, however small the steps are, just keep moving forward. Don't be so hard on yourself and don't dwell on it, but accept that the past, has helped shape you into the beautiful soul that you are. Be proud that you've got this far, and as you step forward, do it with love for yourself, as you write the pages of your future.

In creative mode on a much brighter day than today, I took this photo, and it prompted some thought.... If the concept of time was new to you, perhaps you could be fooled into thinking that by laying the glass upon its side, that you had control, that it would cease for that moment, but then the realisation hits, that everything around you continues to move along just as it was. What a shame we can't do just that eh, instead we have to move with it, fearing the day that it ru...ns out, governed by our busy schedules, watching it pass, cramming life in, wishing we could have some of it back, but it stops for no one. Perhaps, we have become so conditioned, to think that within our time, there is little of of it we deserve for ourselves, that some 'me' time is a selfish thing, to do something just for you. But isn't it more likely, that if we give ourselves some time, to stop, truly relax, play our own music, consider how we feel for a moment in our own shell, take note of where we are on our paths, that maybe, that would serve us better, instead of battling head on, until we're forced to stop, unfortunately sometimes, through exhaustion, stress, illness and worse. Maybe if we sit purposefully in the quiet, for a while, clarity might come, a sense of direction, a sense of recharge, and a faint feeling that just for a moment, time has slowed, and allowed us to breathe.
