We went to Giraffe yesterday, absolutely amazing food, tried so many new things! And thank you especially to Gail who served us, my little 8 month old loved her! When I went to change her in the changing facilities, we had a little wee accident in the process of swapping nappies which meant her clothes got soaked. Very kindly, Gail gave us a Giraffe t-shirt to keep my little girl warm on our journey home. Thank you so much for all the help! We will be recommending and coming back in the future!

We went out last night been together 15 years this was our date night we hadn't had one for 6 years and all.i have to say is we are defo coming back in couple weeks with friends :) the food Was lush and oh my the cocktails :)defo recommend xx

They managed to get a party of 11 in at 9pm. With being turned away from another pub and Frankies and bennies. Great staff, great food. Bit over priced but we were grateful to be eating. Thanx guys.

The food was aboslutly amazing had such a brillaint time the staff were friendly and chatty and hats off to the chef most amazing food iv had in a while ��

Lovely food, great choices excellent service.i had the lunch offer menu main meal and drink for £8.99.

Just had an excellent lunch at Giraffe! With a husband and three kids in tow, it was literally the most enjoyable (public) family eating we've ever had. Kids menu was good with variety, my husband ordered the Full Brunch, and I ordered the Jambalaya Risotto-Spicy and delicious! Thank You Giraffe for offering tasty food and professional service!

I am giving 5 stars based solely on the food it was fantastic. Had the katsu chicken noodles and Malay curry. A few little tweeks regards to the service and then that would match with the 5 star food review.. Staff are very friendly and once you've got their attention they were very eager to please, the restaurant is quite large so getting their attention was the problem. Our food took a while but we were having a lovely evening so not a problem until realised our film was about to start but the staff did their best to ensure we had a speedy departure. Automatic service charge...I hate this, it seems to be the way chain restaurants are going, you can ask to have it removed but I find it pushy.

Great food, family friendly and helpful staff. Can’t wait to go back and try other yummy food on the menu�

Amazing selection of food. Got to eat a burger while snacking on the wife's Katsu chicken sammich. You must try the sweet potato fries with the chipotle mayo. It's dreamy.

The food was tasty, but it is a bit expensive for what you get. I was also promised a large proportion of chips for no extra charge, never got it though.

Always good with amazing service and let's be fair to the other comments regarding gratuity. It's only good manners and an unspoken rule to tip 10% which most people never do so I respect and agree with adding the tip to the bill if their service is good which giraffes always is

Service was ok but had to stare at staff to get service even though there were only 3 or 4 other tables filled. The adding of 10% service charge automatically added to your bill is a bit out of order! I didn't notice till after I had paid.

Asked for chicken in the nachos but this was forgotten about. Had to ask for it half way through.

The thing I hate is the fact that you sneakily add on a couple of pounds to the bill as a "tip" and it automatically shows in the balance due which means unless someone looks properly, they think it's just the cost of the meal. It's disgusting. Us customers tip you if we want to, you could at least ask us if we'd like to give a tip? But even that's a bit out of order because the whole point of a tip is us wanting to give you one... not you sneakily hiding it on the bill. When we come to eat with you it just makes us not pay it at all, we'd quite happily give even an extra £5 every time we come but we don't give you anything because of this. I think you as well as some other restaurants really need to start letting us customers know when you put a random tip at the bottom of our bill because it's ridiculous... such a shame when we recieve great service in all other areas!x

Service was slow took about 15 minutes to get offered drinks .... chicken starter looked raw but was told it was fatty ?! No real apology !! Mains however were lovely but we won't be returning !!!

Food looked nice on a plate but taste horrible for that price, dry or not well cooked chicken, very dry chips. Kids wasn't happy swell, half food stay on the plate. No one satisfied unfortunately.

Burger was overdone...got a refund but still charged for cheese slice....milkshakes good

Me and my partner ate here last night on a date night. The place was so quiet, there was just another couple. I ordered noodles and Allen my partner had chicken burger. We ate and the food was ok, once we had eaten we sat waiting for the bill. We couldn't get anyone's attention due to the 3 members of staff that were working that night, were sitting eating there dinner together and there was no one else serving. Thought this was a little unprofessional. Anyhow the problem being is half an hour from leaving the restaurant my partner began getting very bad cramps, then came the sickness and diarraha. I rang the restaurant as it is clear he has food poisoning, I was passed to the manager who didn't even apologise, just took my name and number. There was no understanding or sympathy that the restaurant had made someone ill or was she surprised by the fact someone had food poisoning from eating at this restaurant. I am a manager and think the level of service is very poor and obviously theres a lack of training as well. We had not eaten anything since breakfast and we were both fit and well before. What people who work in restaurants seem to forget is, it is a treat to eat out, the bill was £40 that's a lot of money for 1 meal and imagine what you could buy in a supermarket with that, so when you pay good money for dinner out you expect a certain level of service not the waiter leaving his meal so we can pay for ours, I wouldn't go back here on that principle let alone Allen who is still at home being sick and can't move due to stomach cramps.
