A community based group for the over fifty fives to assist new and intermediate users develop computer skills in a friendly collaborative environment.
Girton Computer Group Description
The Girton Computer Group facebook page is for members to share resources and to promote the group to new members.
The group meets each Monday from 10: 00 am until 12: 00pm at the St Vincent's Close Community Centre in Girton Cambridgeshire just off Pepy's Way.
It is open to residents of South Cambridgeshire.
Most group members bring their own laptop computers or tablet along and there is free wifi supplied by Cambridgeshire County Council. There are other computers available if you don't currently own one.
It's is an informal friendly atmosphere and new comers are always made very welcome. There is no charge however you would be expected to contribute towards our coffee breaks.
The group is also a gateway to many other local activities.
