The owner Vas has dropped the engine block off at the shop ready to have it sprayed. You forget how small these 1397 blocks are especially as this will be running 450 BHP when all is finished. It’s Small but packs a punch, the Prince Naseem Hamed of the engine world!😛

At Golding Barn garage we love nothing more that a good engine swap. Starting life as a run around this Citroen C2 is going to be transformed into a 4 wheel drive, 500 BHP, turbo charged beast using the engine and running gear from this Audi TT 180 Quattro.

With the finish line in sight the heavily modified rear bumper is now on the Porsche and the custom exhaust has been finished and fitted and man it sounds good.

**Completed project**
With all classic cars you never really know what you are dealing with until you start to remove the paint and unfortunately for this classic Mercedes 280 SL things were worse than first met the eye. 😟
It would take many man hours to get it back to looking this good. But now the owner Danny can now drive a classic Merc that looks as good now as it did 38 years ago when it left the dealership.😍
