Our chorizo scotch eggs are becoming a firm favourite! Just perfect alfresco with a portion of our hand cut chips and a cold pint of Adnams

Went here for dinner Tuesday evening with a friend and the food was delicious! Had the sausage and Mash and can highly recommend. All food and drinks reasonably priced, and received really good service from the staff too. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Top nosh really nice food, great customer service a little bit of salad with the steak would be nice but other than that spot on thank you :)

The owners have done a fantastic job with the place! Great choice of decor! All the staff seem very lovely and helpful and happy! Yes the prices are higher than a few other pubs in the town but they’re no different to many pubs around north Norfolk. Anyone who has a problem with that, just go elsewhere. Spent most of my youth in the old Wenns (Grapes of course!). Rarely in Lynn these days so what a delight to pop into Goldings for a drink Friday evening. Lovely to see the old place looking so classy. Lovely staff, welcoming atmosphere, food looked very good - in fact we would have eaten but only one veggie option that didn’t really appeal to Mrs C (she did love the quality of your glasses though). Maybe worth offering more veggie options as you build the menu?

Really good lunch yesterday, and the lady and gentleman who served us where very good to,we will definitely be returning thanks.

My friend, visiting from North Devon, and I went to Goldings the other Friday. We had the sharing steak with a bottle of prosecco {of course} and it was divine! I’ll be in soon with my hubby again to have the sharing steak-because it was outta this world 🌎! Gracias Goldings 👌🏽

Just wanted to thank you for the delicious meal my family and I had on Saturday. The food was made from fresh, quality ingredients and everything was cooked to absolute perfection - all at an extremely reasonable price too. We were also very impressed by the tasteful decor and excellent, friendly service. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will most definitely be back! ÔøΩ

I visited Goldings last night with a friend, in our younger days we both had spent many a weekend in The Wenns. It was great stepping foot in the old building, it looks amazing!! Nothing at all to moan about lovely surroundings, great food and helpful staff.

Have been to the market bistro before and absolutely loved it. Thought we would try their new venture, fantastic. Although it’s mainly basic fare, it is done amazingly well. I had ham egg and chips... best chips I’ve ever eaten and the ham was delicious. My husband had fish pie, which he highly recommends as one of the best, apart from his own!

You cannot do better than a meal here.

Had the most amazing roast beef lunch today, the beef was so tender accompanied by delicious cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes and carrots, leek bake and bright green kale with the biggest Yorkshire pudding ever. It was delicious. I love the little gravy boat!! Of course I just had to have the chocolate fondue desert which was Devine. Such friendly staff that can’t do enough to help. 10/10 ***** � pre birthday family lunch @goldings was Devine.

Following a busy Christmas I had my first visit to Goldings last night with a couple of friends. Great place to have a drink and it must be said at very reasonable prices following a few murmurs of ‘high’ prices. Decor very classy yet warming. We sat in the rear of the place on the chesterfields sofas - no better way to enjoy a few drinks!! Staff all very knowledgable and friendly. No place like this in the town - let’s hope that it gets the support it deserves. Andy.

Dog friendly and excellent chicken! After a stroll around kings Lynn looking for a decent place to eat and not finding many places that were dog friendly we stumbled across goldings deli and decided to but a take out, however we were invited in with our dog & saw the deli was attached to a lovely pub restaurant which was also dog friendly. We had a lovely meal and drinks and the staff were very friendly.

We enjoyed home cooked ham , eggs and delicious chips and my wife ate scampi chips and minted mushy peas and tartar sauce. There was a great choice of beers on tap and gins etc.

We would definitely recommend this pub which serves gastro type meals. In a great setting. The toilet facilities were also spotlessly clean.

About time that someone actually introduced a wonderful new pub to the area! Somewhere clean to eat, classy and fresh! The option of locally sourced drinks is great (especially the orange, rhubarb and cinamon drink) and the food you have to go and have a taste yourself to understand how delicious it is. Look forward going back in the new year

Went for Sunday lunch today, me and my partner both had beef roast... was AMAZING.

My partner was a little disappointed there was no chicken option, as he is not keen on beef or pork (the only meats options) and he even said the beef was lovely, we’ve never had beef so tender!!

The only down fall of the whole place was the seating opposite the bar area was extremely tight, next time we will ask to be seated elsewhere), Even the waitress struggled to get between the tables to serve.

Lovely atmosphere, and lovely decor.

We will 100% be returning, and will be recommending to family and friends !

Lovely birthday lunch today, helpful staff let us sit near the window- putting two tables together which enabled us to have a lovely view looking out towards the church. Lovely surroundings, good menu selection, tasty great quality local food, freshly cooked... plus delicious desserts.

We popped in for a light lunch and had a toastie each, were dissapointed to see that they were pre made rather than made fresh to order! My partner wanted the chorizo, mozzarella and spinach but without the spinach, the staff obliged with the request but this meant that the spinach was picked out before being toasted, rather than just making one without it.

Food was nice but very disappointed with the baby changing facility...as in there wasn't one! There were holes in the wall where I would guess a table should be but no table nor any sign to apologise.

We sat in the rear of the place on the chesterfields sofas - no better way to enjoy a few drinks!! Staff all very knowledgable and friendly. No place like this in the town - let’s hope that it gets the support it deserves. Andy.

Dog friendly and excellent chicken! After a stroll around kings Lynn looking for a decent place to eat and not finding many places that were dog friendly we stumbled across goldings deli and decided to but a take out, however we were invited in with our dog & saw the deli was attached to a lovely pub restaurant which was also dog friendly. We had a lovely meal and drinks and the staff were very friendly.

We enjoyed home cooked ham , eggs and delicious chips and my wife ate scampi chips and minted mushy peas and tartar sauce. There was a great choice of beers on tap and gins etc.

We would definitely recommend this pub which serves gastro type meals. In a great setting. The toilet facilities were also spotlessly clean.

About time that someone actually introduced a wonderful new pub to the area! Somewhere clean to eat, classy and fresh! The option of locally sourced drinks is great (especially the orange, rhubarb and cinamon drink) and the food you have to go and have a taste yourself to understand how delicious it is. Look forward going back in the new year

Went for Sunday lunch today, me and my partner both had beef roast... was AMAZING.

My partner was a little disappointed there was no chicken option, as he is not keen on beef or pork (the only meats options) and he even said the beef was lovely, we’ve never had beef so tender!!

The only down fall of the whole place was the seating opposite the bar area was extremely tight, next time we will ask to be seated elsewhere), Even the waitress struggled to get between the tables to serve.

Lovely atmosphere, and lovely decor.

We will 100% be returning, and will be recommending to family and friends !

Lovely birthday lunch today, helpful staff let us sit near the window- putting two tables together which enabled us to have a lovely view looking out towards the church. Lovely surroundings, good menu selection, tasty great quality local food, freshly cooked... plus delicious desserts.

We popped in for a light lunch and had a toastie each, were dissapointed to see that they were pre made rather than made fresh to order! My partner wanted the chorizo, mozzarella and spinach but without the spinach, the staff obliged with the request but this meant that the spinach was picked out before being toasted, rather than just making one without it.

Food was nice but very disappointed with the baby changing facility...as in there wasn't one! There were holes in the wall where I would guess a table should be but no table nor any sign to apologise.
