What a wonderful, peaceful gardens to visit.

The sounds of the running water and the wind through the many trees made it especially enjoyable for my blind friend.

It was lovely to be able to have some homemade GF cake with my coffee in the tea room too, as usually I have to go without.

We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

We had a really nice time wandering around at our leisure. Looking at all the beautiful plants and water gardens. We didn't follow the map, we just roamed about at our own pace. Will definately return at different times of the year to see the different seasonal planting.

Well worth the entrance fee, and a fabulous tea room where you also buy plants.

The parking was limited, but a car left as we were waiting for a space, so only waited a couple of minutes. We arrived about midday though.

We had a lovely time walking round the gardens. The weather was not great but still a lovely garden. Went into the cafe for coffee could not sample the extensive selection of cakes as we were going out to lunch.Cafe was very dog friendly and supplied dog biscuits,

We had a fantastic day out here with the all the family and two young nephews, the oldest of which is 18 months. There are so many flowers and creatures to see, it kept my eldest nephew occupied for the whole day we were there. He even got to "kiss" a frog that came to say hello. The other visitors were really friendly which meant my nephew had more people to "talk to" and wave to across the water! Whilst we sat down and ate a selection of the delicious cakes, he had to watch the lady bake a cake which he was disappointed was not for him! Great place to practice flower/garden photography as well as bird photography. Highly recommend a visit here, children or no children as it is very tranquil and relaxing.

User

This was our second visit to these lovely gardens. Such lovely colours, well kept and we even saw a kingfisher this time, but it went before I could take a picture. Lovely sausage rolls, home made cake and coffee for lunch served with very friendly staff. Lovely day for a wedding reception!

The gardens are well worth regular visits as they change with the seasons. Wonderful to see the swans and their nest today. Very peaceful place. The tearoom is a must real home baked food , we had a cheese scone before our walk and a fruit scone jam and cream at the end of walk (delicious). Plenty of seats to just take it all in .

User

Every time I visit is a treat. Beautifully kept gardens and waterways. The cakes are scrummy too.

User

Even on a cold February Saturday there was plenty to see and we spent over an hour here. Our second visit but our first was nearly 10 years ago so it brought back happy memories.

User

A weekend camping trip nearby saw us looking for activities to do within the area although not loads to do in this part of the world we came across this little gem! I was expecting it to be rather nice from the views, though was simply stunning, especially taking into account the story behind it. A great family legacy to a lot of hard work that has gone into creating this garden over the years. I would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful walk round some tranquil gardens for a couple of hours. A really tasty scone & good cuppa was also enjoyed at the end of our trails.

User

A truly beautiful and peaceful place to visit. Unspoiled natural beauty surrounds you.
