Wonderful place. Traditional tea shop with quirky gift shop upstairs. Lovely staff

What a 'treasure' of a place. Went today, on a recommendation, couldn't spend enough time there to explore all the goodies . . . will be back a.s.a.p.

Visited today for afternoon tea with my sister and two kids (aged 8 & 11) and we were not dissapointed. The warm scones with jam and cream were absolutely amazing. The kids were well catered for with their own version complete with sweeties which they loved. The shop was amazing too, did some early Christmas shopping.....good times!!!

My first time at Gorgeous Gerties yesterday with two friends and I wasn't disappointed ! Lovely place, friendly staff with great food and cakes as well as beautiful gift items, a really special place and I will definitely be back. Thank you:)

Lovely friendly feel, great food, great service. Also AladdinŌĆÖs cave of a shop - sensory stimulation to the max....

If you're anything like me and you saw the film You've got mail and thought to yourself "It's such a shame places like The Shop Around the Corner don't exist anymore" you will absolutely love this magical cafe and vintage shop called Gorgeous Gerties in Dorking, England ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐ Į It's unique, it's cosy..it's perfect ’┐Į Plus the food and drinks are so yummy!

I have never been but a client of mine with special needs goes and he is always treated amazingly and tells me in great detail about every visit. Thank you so much for making Wayne feel great about himself, it's great to see him after a visit he's buzzing. You do amazing work thank you

Hello... just wanted to say that I had my baby shower at Gorgeous Gerties last Sunday and it was just lovely. Thank you to my lovely clever friend Vicki Broadhead for picking such an amazing venue and a huge thank you to the lovely young ladies that made sure we had enough tea, sandwiches and cake to last a lifetime time. Would definitely recommend to everyone I know!

Have only found this place in the past few months. Given cream tea vouchers to friends, they loved it. Then we were lucky to have had a cream tea voucher given to us. It was fabulous. Will go and try lunch next time!

Came on the 24th June for a afternoon tea for my daughter's 16th birthday. Cute little sandwiches, cake and scones with tea.they forgot the tea to start but this was corrected.

Definitely worth another visit to try some of the other dishes on offer.

As usual I had the loveliest the best tuna panini with extra tomato and mayonnaise on the side. It was so lovely to be with friends and peruse the shop after. I am a GG aficionada and am there as often as I can. They are so accomadating for reservations and birthdays and are ultimately an asset to Dorking.

Amazing place.....little bit of heaven in a shop, oh and the cake was to die for!

A real treat to have such a delicious lunch in this lovely vintage tearoom, served by friendly staff and looking around the shop was lovely too. Hope to come back when visiting our daughter next time.

A lovely place to shop for beautiful crafts, followed by delicious tea and cake. Such a pity it is closing at the end of June. Get there quick!

Sweet little place, a bit cramped but loved the miniatureŌĆŗ milk bottle, reminded me of being at primary school and being a milk monitor!



I chose gluten free carrot cake to go with my afternoon tea which was a bit on the dry side. Would have liked a couple more sandwiches rather than the cake as they were delicious. The scone and cream was enough sugar for me, in fact had to take the cake home as too much to eat in one sitting.



Overall spent a very pleasant Sunday afternoon in Gerties.

I liked the gift and craft shop as part of the experience. Of course one doesn't have to explore those.



The afternoon tea we had was presented on old style crockery so part of the oldie worldy atmosphere. Sandwiches were presented with a small amount salad. The cakes were fantastic and of very big portions. The red velvet cake was appreciated.

The sandwiches were really nice but could have done with choosing what was in the sandwiches & what cake you are served. I think that maybe you should be told exactly what you get the ┬Ż13 for afternoon tea per person. Table was a little difficult to get my legs under comfortable but apart from that sandwiches, scones with cream & jam and cake were very tasty & went home with full tummy ­¤Öé

Interesting little shop with gifts and lovely hot teas coffee and cake. Worth a try!
