Parking in residential roads. When you drop off/collect your child/children please can you be considerate of the residents who live in the roads around the school. Please do not block driveways and leave enough room for residents to leave their house. Many thanks

School Uniform I have spoken to Total Clothing and they will be putting delivery into school back on their delivery options from this Friday. Orders placed before this will only have the option to deliver to your address or collect from the showroom in Peterborough. Please allow 10 days for delivery into school from the date of your order. Just to let you know that the half term and weekly options to pay for school dinner (years 3 & 4) morning snacks and lunchtime drinks is available on Parentmail until tomorrow, Sunday at 6pm. If you have a child starting in Reception who was not in our Acorn nursery you will not be set up on Parentmail until the end of next week and will therefore need to pay with cash please. Pop the money in an envelope with your child’s name and class written on the front then hand it in on Wednesday morning. School Games Mark We are delighted to announce that, Gothic Mede Academy, have achieved the School Games Platinum Mark Award for the 2017/18 academic year. The School Games Mark is a Government led award scheme launched in by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success. As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded this year.

Congratulations Mrs Roberts! We couldn't be more pleased and less surprised to hear the comments that our fantastic Reception Class teacher has had written about her, leading to her winning this competition! We're incredibly proud of her and so lucky to have her as part of our team at Gothic Mede Academy!

Year 4 Parents of children going to Etonbury Etonbury are hosting a pop up uniform shop that will be open from 3.45-4.45pm **tomorrow** for Gothic Mede students going up in September.

Kind reminder - Tomorrow is non uniform for a donation of box/bar/bag of chocolate for the summer fair chocolate tombola. Thanks in advance.

Nursery to Reception Transition Day - Friday 6th July. Children who are spending their transition day this Friday in our reception classes, Oak and Ash will need to bring in either a packed lunch or £2.00 for a dinner from the kitchen. (If you are paying for a school dinner please put the £2.00 in a sealed envelope with your childs name and 'school dinner' written on the envelope) Please also ensure your child has suncream applied before school, a filled water bottle and a sun hat. Kind reminder - Non uniform day. On Wednesday 4th July, we will be holding a ‘Mufti Day’ (non-uniform). If your child would like to come to school in non-school uniform can you please send in a voluntary donation of chocolate for the School Council Tombola in aid of Cancer Research I.e. Box of chocolates, large bar of chocolate, bag of chocolates etc and mark it ‘School Council Tombola’ please. Thank you.
