Very good value for money considering it's Norwich city centre. - good size fish and good portion of chips. The fish was great - very high on my 'best I've ever had' list - fresh, chunky and very tasty. Chips were fresh and very tasty too. Will definitely come back again.

My one very minor grumble is why have wooden knifes and forks? If you have to wash the metal trays the food comes.on, you could wash cutlery too.

We had some scrummy lunch yesterday and I couldn't recommend the battered stuffing balls enough! The chips were yummy as always and they were very accommodating with my mums gluten allergy and whipped her up a chicken quarter with the gluten free batter on which she loved. The service at the counter and table side was top notch and this is definitely my favourite spot to eat in Norwich.

Very affordable and tasty food, great staff, easy to find. One of my faves.

Took a group of 30 (!!!) here for a meal on Saturday night. Everything was spot on from start to finish. Booking was easy, Christian was a delight to deal with and really helpful. Staff were superb on the night and the food was, of course, top notch. Dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian etc) also well catered for. Highly recommended.

The best Fish and Chips , we have ever had in UK and on my each visit to London from Toronto , I never missed in my itenerary list yo visit Norwich and Fish and Chips .

The Grosvenor catered for our wedding reception in December (held just over the road in The Birdcage!) and we couldn’t be more pleased. Christian was an absolute pleasure to deal with beforehand, and everybody agreed that the food was absolutely delicious. This place deserves every nice thing that is said about it!

I cannot rate this place highly enough. I bought 20 Guides here tonight for our end of term treat. The staff were so helpful from the offset and catered for our vegetarian and vegan children too. Credit really must go to Rory who was beyond helpful, welcomed the girls in, showed them to a specially decorated area with cutlery, glasses and crackers laid out. The food was bought piping hot and very prompt and when the girls burst into song of 'We wish you a Merry Christmas' Rory joined in willingly. Customer service at its very finest. Thank you so much for giving us such a fabulous evening and all the extra little touches did not go un missed. Local business at its very best. Thanks a million times over!

Here everything is super...but fish&chips....mmmm.....delicious!!!!!

Haddock, chips and curry sauce...all absolutely spot on. Best ever? Yeah, I reckon.

Had evening family meal, excellent service, great atmosphere, lovely food at a great price; will be back soon!!

Great tasting Cod and chips, very pleasant staff, we sat inside but there are a few bench seats outside plus the grotto downstairs and you can also order them to be delivered to the Bird Cage pub if you’re having a drink. Looking forward to our next visit.

Friendly staff, well made proper chips, sausages and fish. I appreciate being able to take them to the Birdcage or eating them on the sun in the green. Duane always makes me feel welcome, and I have forgotten the name of the two lovely blonde girls who served for at least the last year. Also I think Christian needs thanks, I think he is still cooking there :)

First visit in about 5 years (due to not working this area of the city) absolutely amazing food, cooked perfectly & no soaked paper in grease! Well done will be back more often.

Fantastic. We booked a large group of 20. Christian was so helpful and understanding when numbers kept changing. The £10 deal was great and included tea coffee and chocolates. We didn't have to pay up front and could put the order in when we got there. Really great. Also no corkage was so fab. Definately be back x

Enjoyed my birthday meal here today. Firstly, what a very pleasant surprise to be greeted by a member of staff, who then proceeded to make us feel very welcome. Little touches like that go a long way in my book. We ordered the Christmas Dinner and the 5 quid squid. Both meals were served promptly and the quality of food was fantastic! Seems like chips swimming in grease is a thing of the past!

The transformation of the Grosvenor is unbelievable. Go see and enjoy!

Always liked the Grosvenor, went today for the new 'High Sea' for two. The portions were gigantic, food delicious and the tea cake at the end was the perfect touch!
