Transformation Tuesday. Summer vibes ☀️

The reality of silver/platinum blonde -
If I got a pound for every time i have these colours sent/shown to me for inspiration on a daily basis I think I’d be able to go on a lovely little holiday 🙈
Truth is guys unfortunately a majority of these silver/platinum inspired pictures are took with various different lighting methods and sometimes a little help of everyone’s favourite friend, a filter!
... In reality hair can be bleached over and over again until it’s see through (major no no btw!!!!) and it can still hold some warmth, yes warmth as in yellow and ‘ginger’ tones. If it doesn’t want to be white it won’t be white. I would love to say to every client I have in with some kind of inspiration like this it can be done, but honestly it’s a rare thing. I’ve had clients who have been ‘forever’ blonde ask and it just sometimes doesn’t work. Sometimes hair can be too damaged and sometimes hair can be the perfect tone leaving the salon and a week later the warmth sets in. These colours are HIGH maintenance.
My clients will know that if I know something isn’t going to work il be honest and upfront. It’s took a lot of experience for me to know what will and won’t work, trust me I believe in the saying ‘you learn from your mistakes’ 😂
So guys if your thinking of a change major or subtle it’s always best to see if it will work for your hair type, if your jet black it’s probably not going to go white etc. Please remember I do always offer free consultations if you need a bit of help and advice 🙂🙂
