I LOVE HAIR!
Being a hairdresser is something I am passionate about and I feel very lucky to be able to do what I love as a career.
I qualified in 1999 after working and training in a salon called Regis Hair & Beauty. I then went on to work at a local salon near to where I lived at the time to gain more experience.
After this I worked in a barbers called Craig Hubert which I thoroughly enjoyed and I also introduced womens' hair to the salon. Whilst working here I was also able to do lots of hair and fashion shows, this was an experience I really liked.
I then spent approximately 6 years working for the world famous Toni & Guy. This was by far my best experience in hairdressing; I loved it!
I was very lucky to gain some of the best training here, I spent 6 weeks in London being taught the Toni & Guy way of cutting and then another 6 weeks learning the Toni & Guy way of colouring. After each course I had to present 12 models which were marked by an Artistic Style Director from London, in my case I had Gary France (Awesome hairdresser! ) It was brilliant.
I enjoyed working with the team of professionals I had the pleasure of working beside and I enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the busy salon. I also really enjoyed the Toni & Guy awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London. I gained so much experience here and learnt so much. Definitely some of the best times.
Now I am a mobile hairdresser and am loving working for myself. My husband and I have a gorgeous son named Jack who is quickly approaching 2 years old! I feel very lucky to be able to do this as a career; it is something which I am passionate about and something that fits in with my family life too.
I have a wonderful client base, each and everyone is a pleasure to visit.
Even after all the experience I have gained, I believe that with something like hair you are always learning and developing. There are always new trends, styles and techniques and I enjoy and look forward to learning and trying them all!

Would highly recommend. Always does a lovely colour and cut on my hair. Always does a great cut on my children's hair, even though my 3 year old twins never sit very still.

Needed a fringe disaster caused by my regular hair dressers fixed at short notice and Sarah did an amazing job fixing the problem and giving me exactly what I wanted with probably pretty bad instructions on my part. Lovely to chat to as well! Definitely be booking again �

Had my hair done for the first time by Sarah and am really impressed. The cut is lovely and the colour she put in is amazing, she also taught me a new way to put my hair up! Have booked for her to come back again and can honestly say I don't want anyone but her to do my hair again. I have a strange fear of hairdressers and she put me completely at ease, can't thank her enough. For the first time in year's I actually enjoyed having my hair done.
