Morning. Here’s a quick idea for the children to get involved in. I (Diana) bought these mini pizzas bases and a variety of toppings. Each family member then chose their toppings and decorated their own pizzas. It’s a lovely, easy way to get the children involved in cooking! We spread tomato purée on the bases and then had cheese, ham, pineapple, pepperoni, sweetcorn for toppings. Pop them in the oven for about 20 mins. Here’s our pizzas and yes my pizza has pineapple!! Because pineapple is good on pizza! 😃 What is your favourite pizza topping?

If there are any families that have moved on from Happy Faces but would like to join in a little project we’re working on - it involves learning a few makaton signs for a video. Please message us and we’ll give you the instructions. X

Hi everyone, please check Tapestry as we’ve put something on there that we’re excited about, but don’t want to say what it is yet. We want ALL of you involved. Please go and have a look and join in with this. We think it could be amazing. 😊Hi everyone, please check Tapestry as we’ve put something on there that we’re excited about, but don’t want to say what it is yet. We want ALL of you involved. Good morning. Here’s Danni and Nellie with a lovely activity you can do at home. I’ll put a recipe for homemade paint in the comments in case you don’t have any paint at home. If you don’t have plain white paper use newspaper, old wallpaper, old letters and envelopes, open cereal packets/boxes, anything the children can make a mark on. Have fun. 😊

Tonight’s story is delivered by the lovely Gail and in keeping with our talk about pets today it’s about our doggy friend Hairy McClary from Donaldson’s Dairy. Enjoy 😊

Good morning. Here’s a little video to show the children about pets - I’d love to see what pets everyone has got at home. If you haven’t got a pet then I’d love to know what amazing animal you’d like as a pet. Put your photos on your Tapestry or on here (or both) so that we can see your pets. A link to the story ‘Dear Zoo’ is in the comments for you to watch together and talk about animals and pets. Enjoy! (Working with animals and children today!💪😂) Also Thank you to all those adding photographs to their Tapestry accounts we are LOVING seeing what you are all up to. 😊

Have any of you been accessing the Twinkl site for activities? There is also an app you can download for your phone/device. It offers lots of activities either games online or suggestions. This is free using the code below during this time.
There are some great resources. Have a look and let us know how you get on.

Today’s story is ready! You probably guessed what it was!! We’d love to see your Stickman creations, either with a stick if you can get one, or you can use a wooden spoon. Or perhaps draw a picture or make a Stickman with play dough (recipe up on Tapestry). Enjoy!

Here’s a clue for today’s story I’m going to read later. Can you guess what it’s going to be?!

Morning everyone. Today would have been the start of the Summer term 😢 but we’re still here if you need us and will be posting ideas and tips for at home. I’ve done a little video, it’s really just me babbling on with ideas particularly for children going off to school in September. I’ll get better at this and try to put up different things as I think of them!! The most important thing is you are your child’s first and best teacher, you have everything they need. We’ll just give you tips to hopefully help along the way. **I will be emailing out the funding forms today (all going well!) please look out for those and reply ASAP so that I can process the funding claim for this term.** I hope you’re all safe and well. Diana x 😊😊

Some of you will be finding out which school your child has been given for September. If you applied online you should be able to log on to the Suffolk website find out. Please message us to let us know which school your child has got and we can begin to support your child’s transition to school (not sure how yet if we’re not back but we’ll do our very best!). If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s school place please get in touch and we will do our best to help you. We hope you’re all well and happy at home. Hope to see you all soon. Keep smiling 😊

🐣Wishing you all a safe and peaceful Easter with lots of chocolate. See you all soon. 🐣

Hi all, hope you are all safe and well at home and have been able to get out a little bit in the sunshine. I just wanted to reassure parents/carers that Happy Faces will not be charging parents for any sessions during this time when we are closed. We will be emailing you in the next few weeks if your child is funded to check the details on your funding form. The government will still pass on funding to our setting to help us to cover costs. We hope this clears up any confusion. We wish you all a safe and happy Easter bank holiday weekend. 😊
