Our story
The original Mr Harrison and Mr Dunn partnership dates back to 1924, where Mr Dunn started work as an apprentice at a store called Duncomb & Co Ltd. The partnership was a strong one, and in 1930 they set up shop together and Harrison and Dunn was born. The two gentlemen worked together until Mr Harrison retired in 1955, however it wasn't until 2004 that Mr Dunn aged 94 actually stopped working in the store, although he actually retired 1990!
A true family business, Harrison and Dunn has provided careers for many family members including brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, Grandsons, granddaughters, and great grandsons. Today the store is owned and run by Richard Dunn along with his two son's David and John.
