Well thanks to the fabulous food and gorgeous champagne my daughter had an amazing 18th birthday meal. Really made the best evening by the absolutely amazing staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the extra little touches all taken care of. Thank you to you all.

Took my wife to Thorpe-le-soken for her birthday and we stayed at Harry's, we loved our room, we had breakfast which we both really enjoyed and we found the staff friendly and very helpful and great service, would recommend

The food was lovely, if a little slow in coming but that was due to the lack of staff. The music was a little too loud, I like a bit of music but I also like conversation and unfortunately felt we were shouting a bit. But overall loved it!

Stayed here on Saturday as going to a local wedding. Great welcome and offered Harry's Room. Absolutely perfect, modern decor, Molton Brown toiletries, bathrobes and Hildon water on the tea tray. The bed, crisp linen and comfy pillows gave us a great night sleep. Check out wasn't till 11 so there was no mad rush to pack up. A full cooked breakfast was included which definitely hit the spot. Very attentive team and highly recommended.

Second time at Harry's within a few weeks , first was with my husband and we had a lovely meal , recommended it and returned Wednesday evening with a friend . Again an excellent meal , so wish Harry's was local to me but to travel from Romford for a meal would seem a bit excessive! However will always eat there when in the area .

I was fortunate enough to win a lunch in the draw that was made and so rallied my family together for my birthday and we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at this establishment. The majority of us had a roast dinner & it was absolutely delicious. My daughter who is 4 demolished nearly everything without hesitation, I was most impressed.

I believe it was the manager who was serving us and she was fabulous, wonderfully attentive and really went the extra mile by bringing extra gravy, colouring sheet and pencils and did not rush us in any way.

The only little problem we experienced was that when people left they didn’t close the door & then it felt like all of the heat escaped, making us cold but that wasn’t the establishments fault. Maybe a note on/near the door politely reminding people might help? My husband shut it three times.

I would highly recommend and I’m looking forward to visiting again! Xxx

I eat and drink regularly in Harry's and I love it can't fault it! Never had a bad meal always cooked well, presented well & tastes delicious highly recommend! Staff are always very attentive and professional. It's a great place to meet for just a coffee too a very quiet relaxed atmosphere which can be romantic in the evening. We got engaged in Harry's and it was a fab night. Always go back regularly.

Harry's bar is by far the best place in thorpe! All the staff are awesome and really polite, can't fault the place! �

Finally got round to using our voucher we were bought for Christmas! Greeted very warmly as soon as we entered Harry’s. Shown to our table and our waitress for the evening was Faye. She was amazing, food simply delicious and service impeccable.

A great little place. We stayed overnight in a beautiful room, tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delish and included in the price of the room, which is always a plus. The only thing that spoiled it for us was the loose manhole cover in the road which clonked every time a vehicle went over it, starting about 5.30 in the morning. Will defo be back when visiting friends in the area. Thank you for all you did too in an awkward episode with noisy neighbours.

Great starter and pretty good main (mussels and linguine) however my desert was absolutely cremated (baked Alaska)

They did apologise and offer something else and to be fair I wasn’t charged. But, there’s no way that should have left the kitchen in the first place!!!

As always the meal was beautiful. Service was a bit slow but you were short staffed so that's fair enough. My only complaint is that where we were sitting - we kept getting wafts of smells from the toilets which was a bit off putting

Went last night with my hubby and friends for a quiet meal to toast my 50th birthday. Been here before and always had a good meal . To start with the only soup for starters was onion which unfortunately I cannot eat, and because of dietry needs no other starter was suitable. No problem though the other 3 enjoyed the rib and scollops to start. Then the main meal 3 of us wanted wasn't available, only 2 of the lamb special was left, however the chef offered a steak alternative which was accepted. I ordered the Cod meal which I have always ate in the past. It was served up undercooked and cold in the centre, I sent it back. The waitress apologised for the chef and said another chef was cooking me a fresh piece and it would be approx..7 minutes. Fine, thank you.. although I'm not happy that I would be eating my main meal alone.. My Dish was served a second time and frustratingly the batter was "crisped" too much and the fish in the centre was raw! It was a large thick piece of cod but I wasn't chancing eating it, it looked "blobby" in the middle and the waitress (Supervisor) actually agreed she wouldn't eat it, I thanked her for her honesty at least! I was offered a complimentary drink. The Chefs response however was to send a message via the waitress saying it was fresh from "Youngs" the day before and cooked at 45 degrees as it should be.. then he said he cooked the second one at 60 degrees ? I'm not sure how to respond by now so I asked for the bill and went to get a Chinese take away from the Chinese Ccottage down the road. Would like to add the other 3 mains were enjoyed . However I won't be returning. Well done to our waitress and Supervisor though, she was very apologetic and I made sure to tell her she wasn't at fault.

I really wanted to try the food and wasn't going to let one staff member put me off so phoned Sunday, the girl I booked with had much better customer service skills and said even though they were busy we could sit outside with the dog, it wasn't a problem. We had a nice table outside and the bar staff were pleasant. My husband and kids wanted a roast so the waitress said there was a selection of different meats would go off and find out what was available, she returned and told us there was no roasts left. Hubby and I wanted to share mussels for starters and were then told there was none left. The waitress was apologetic. We finished our drinks, settled up and went elsewhere. Very disappointed � Would appreciate feedback from management as was so looking forward to eating here and not to mention we would of been spending over £100 plus with a family of four with good appetites.

I'm not sure how to respond by now so I asked for the bill and went to get a Chinese take away from the Chinese Ccottage down the road. Would like to add the other 3 mains were enjoyed . However I won't be returning. Well done to our waitress and Supervisor though, she was very apologetic and I made sure to tell her she wasn't at fault.

Disappointing - nipped in on the way back from Walton on Saturday to book a table for Saturday evening but needed to sit outside as had dog. One member of staff was unhelpful, told me couldn't guarantee me a table outside as there maybe people sitting outside! Didn't seem interested in us wanting to make a booking at all. I really wanted to try the food and wasn't going to let one staff member put me off so phoned Sunday, the girl I booked with had much better customer service skills and said even though they were busy we could sit outside with the dog, it wasn't a problem. We had a nice table outside and the bar staff were pleasant. My husband and kids wanted a roast so the waitress said there was a selection of different meats would go off and find out what was available, she returned and told us there was no roasts left. Hubby and I wanted to share mussels for starters and were then told there was none left. The waitress was apologetic. We finished our drinks, settled up and went elsewhere. Very disappointed � Would appreciate feedback from management as was so looking forward to eating here and not to mention we would of been spending over £100 plus with a family of four with good appetites.
