We visited in the 29th December 2017 after we had been to the cinema. I had booked a table online but we got to Harvester 45 minutes early, we were greeted by a nice young man who said our early arrival wasn’t a problem and escorted us to a table. We had a lovely meal, great choice on the menu and very reasonably priced. Food was great and the staff were very attentive. We will be back. Thank you.

This year we decided to go out for Christmas Dinner.

We had looked around on the web and although a lot of places to choose from ,they were all very over priced for what the menu offered.

I know it's Christmas day and so wages have to be upgraded so to be attractive for the staff ,And rightly so, but still over priced.

When coming across the Harvesters menu,We found it to be very well balanced and well priced for the day.

Our children like all sorts of food and the menu for them was well played out(pretty much what was on offer for the adults)

We prebooked online a few weeks before (Under the name of T Mucklin)

We booked for 2pm and on arrival we were greeted with pleasant and polite staff.

We were seated in minutes and waited on by a chap called Will.

The courses were timed just right and the atmosphere was superb throughout the restaurant. My Lads steak ,amongst all the other courses we had was cooked perfectly(medium rare)

Before we left I did ask for the manage and when He popped round we thanked him for such a lovely couple of hours.

It's very easy to complain, And I will and have done on many of occasions at many restaurants when it's not right ,but it's just as important to compliment too.

Once again ...We thank you for an enjoyable day and the time you gave us all.

Mark at harvester pavilion is amazing the customer service is great the food is fantastic The atmosphere is wicked and things are very clean

Always very high standard of food and service.

The red devil sauce is awesome.

And the salad bar is a great feature.

All I can say is they were fab , we organized and booked a table for 13 at a local eatery for our sons 16th birthday we got there after delivering balloons and cake and bits earlier in the day to be told we had no table , we phoned and they gladly seated all our party in 2 min and food was fab and really quick and William our server was so patient with the children's orders I would highly recommend and no complaints with regards to the food many thanks guys u saved my boys birthday surprise x

Staff lovely, but I was cold in there and our food ok but only just warm so not the best we've had there unfortunately

Little slow service although it was hot and busy from the event we was at next door, due to that I wasn't vey hungry when food arrived i did have a little salad before too which was nice you can get your own and refill drinks, there was a young waitress was lovely full of Manners and did call backs on us there for have a tip for her hard work, dessert was yummy and was overall a good experience just didn't manage to eat my food as much as I wanted to :-)

The best younger people i have had. The manager was polite and our 20min wait was actually 10. Jasmine and serena were very pleasant young ladies. Considering how busy they were nothing was any trouble. Both were attentive and lovely to chat to. Our food was good both nights but do agree that the jacket potatoes were burnt rather than crisp , and disappointed rice pud was off both nights..lol!

Well 23rd july was another great success. Please dont moan about the staff here as they all work so hard. Tonight Will served us with humour and efficiency. Produced my rice pud which was well worth waiting for. end of lovely weekend.

Went bank holiday Monday not very busy, waitress was excellent service very quick. The only minor complaint was that the chips and mushy peas were only lukewarm and could have done being hotter, other than it was enjoyable and would certainly go there again. PS - salad bar and refillable soft drinks is a big plus in the Harvester.

Used to be my favourite mid week restaurant. Not keen on the new menu, took ages to get our drinks and food even though restaurant empty, hardly any staff around and felt sorry for them although they were friendly, salad bar average, main course was lovely apart from avoid the jacket potatoes. Won't be going back, I think the Hampton one is far better.

We arrived around 1.30pm yesterday on our way to London for lunch, we were seated quickly however it all seemed to go down hill from there . We waited a while for a waitress to take our order then was told we could go for salad. Once again we waited a while for our drinks to arrive. We understand you were busy so we waited. We ordered 4 main meals and ended up waiting an hour for our meals to arrive . When we asked the waitress how much longer it was likely to be , she went to find our and came back and said she was sorry but they hadn't got any baked potatoes so my friend chose to have chips so we ended up waiting again . When the meals arrived our chips were cold , my steak was like a burger ( I know I asked for well done but that was ridiculous) my friend vegetables were cold and we ended up having to rush as we had waited so long. We have been to your restaurant many times but I have to say that was the worse meal we have ever had.

Waited 20mins in doorway to be seated then went to place order to be told there were no burgers whatsoever server was super apologetic and said we should've been told on arrival. We finally placed an order waited an hour for our food (not impressed) which all in all was good although jacket potato could've been a bit less cooked skin was rather hard. We were apologised too and the explanation was they had a table of 26 in so maybe they should have a few more staff in on a busy Friday night?!? Our server was great 👍🏻 Thanks Jasmine!

Friendly staff. But not enough of them. Serving staff barely had time to take orders or get bills.

Food was ok. Came quickly, but not great quality. No bowls at salad cart, no bread rolls, or sauces. Had to wait for them. By the time we got back to table our food was there. Only positives were staff and kids are for £1.

Can't believe how quickly this place has gone down hill. Too much wrong to list tonight but can be sure not to be returning any time soon.

gave the place a second chance as the first time wasn't great, this time was even worse - food is definatly frozen, soggy and half arsed - staff are friendly but too busy to be able to give good service - frozen food and understaffed.

Well sadly been visiting here for 18 year’s now, sadly yesterday will be our last!

Absolutely disaster start to finish! A ruined family birthday meal!
