We couldn’t thank our server Sam enough. He was friendly & very helpful. We walked in and he could tell we had our hands full with two boys under 3. He was very quick at getting our drinks offering to get the first refill for us (saved us getting up) My youngest had a melt down when our food arrived.Sam offered to put my husband’s food under the hot plate which was very thoughtful never been offered this treatment in any other restaurant. Then once I finished my dinner & took the baby, Sam promptly brung over my husband’s dinner which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Sam thanks for making what could of been a stressful experience a very enjoyable family meal.

We went Thursday afternoon- really good service. Everything cooked well. Lovely staff. Lots of salad put out. Would definitely go back again.

Our waiter (Sam) was very friendly and very helpful! The overall experience was wonderful ☺️

So we only had a few drinks but did notice not enough Bar Staff

Came yesterday with my two children, restaurant was very busy and our poor waiter was run off his feet so there was a long wait in between courses but the food was lovely (bit annoying I didn't get chance to eat my salad as the food came so quickly but can't fault you for that!). It was an absolute bargain due to the Kids Eat for £1 deal too. I always favour this restaurant to our closest Harvester and can't fault it

Called in for lunch with a friend- ordered early bird meals, no drinks. Food was fine. Bill arrived- 18.98, instead of the 15.98 we expected. VAT was added!!? As I understand it, by law vat is included in the menu price in uk.. I have private messaged harvester twice, but have had no reply. Please can you clarify. Thank you.

The food what was ordered was wrong and the food was cold ie the chips the gammon my fiencee asked for gammon and chips she got egg and mushroom and onion rings on top desert was ordered and cherry pie was warm and the custard was cold sent custard back and another one came yet again it was cold so overall it wasn't a pleasure the last 2 times of being there was alot better

Ok very tatty looking now staff hassled food ok but kinda over priced . When we arrived the place was quiet yet we were seated where there was damage to seating which you would think would be the last place we would be offered the place used to be nice but it’s gone down hill :(

Had the early bird meal! This was disappointing! specially the chicken when asked how is everything told the waitress that the chicken was small portion very small my friends was smaller than mine!!! and she just looked and said sorry walking off! No one else came over and asked (manager) After meal came over with Bill wasn't very nice, think they couldn't wait for us to leave! Wll not go back again!

Came here Sunday afternoon evening . Was reasonable busy so didn't mind waiting in bar area for 30mins . When it came time to get salad from salad cart , was pretty much empty and no bowls asked one of the waitresses who got some more bowls as people were waiting for the salad cart the bowls disappeared before I or my wife could get one . Had to ask again and waited for salad to be topped up . Food was ok wife's fish was cold ish when it arrived by that point we couldn't be bothered to wait for another .. was seated with my 3 children 1 in a high chair and was only given 3 forks so had to ask for more cutlery by this point after 2 requests for a bowl and 1 for a fork felt like I was getting on the waitresses nerves ... asked for bill which came but no one came to allow me to pay for the bill and ended up going to the bar to pay .

Bit disappointed, understand it's a busy time for them however seemed a little under staffed .

Will come again maybe not around the same time

Went there yesterday with the family and was very disappointed. Service was slow waited forever for mains/drinks/afters. Had to get up twice to try and get some service to come to our table. Food was burnt and fatty. Kids couldn't eat there burgers because it was tough and tasteless. Place has gone so down hill, was told not to go there and now I know why. Ended up leaving with two hungry kids and feeling angry. Don't waste your money on this place!

We phoned up and booked a table for 9 people. We arrived all fine. Sat down ordered drinks took a while but all fine. Waited a while to actually get someone to come and take our order for food we ordered a couple starters and ordered mains. Few of the mains we wasn't able to have as wasn't any left. So we asked for something else. Ordered it. Once the starters come out and had been eaten we then got told that what 3 people had ordered they didn't have any left. So had to have an alternative. One then was left with not wanting anything as 3 things they had asked for previous wasn't available. So the other then re ordered other things of the menu. After a while the food came out. Chips were awful gravy had a skin over it and so did the mash! One of the steaks was half fat.! And when asking for medium rare we got well done. The beans were disgusting just an all round fail with the food. Not to mention the state of the toilets (females) and also the window seal where we sat was so sticky it sounded like the bag we put on there had Velcro on it! Admittedly the staff did handle it well. And we're very apologetic and did sort out the situation by not letting us pay for the food just our drinks. But a total disaster during our time. Not sure why but it's really gone down hill the last few months or year!

Visited yesterday, think they were understaffed-waited quite a long time to order, food took quite some time to arrive. Starter portions seem to have shrunk...our main courses-steak were extremely chewy (the last time I visited I had the same issue), onion rings were over cooked too. Nobody came to ask if the food was ok so my husband had to go find a member of staff, he sent his back and had ribs instead-they were burnt, dry and flavour was killed by the burnt taste. Nobody asked if we wanted more drinks either and because they were understaffed we couldn't even see anyone to grab their attention!! Really disappointed and won't be going back...had family say the same thing too.

Just got back from a meal with my children.

Waited 50 minutes for food.

Manager said not their fault as they had big tables in before us.

That really is no excuse no prior warning to the wait time ( i would never ever of waited 50 minutes. Had to eat really quick and leave as 1 of my children had to go to bed)

As leaving one of the waiting staff had a joke to another member of staff that theres a 45 minute wait.

Terrible just terrible

Had very disappointing meal. 5 of us ate. 2 had cold veg with their salmon. 2 had burnt Caribbean chicken with coleslaw which was definitely off. Desserts were no better. They had run out of toffee sauce and munchies and no fresh banana in banoffee sundae. Will not return

Came here for mothers day. Never again chips were dry and greasy rest of the dinner was cold. The cherry pie was like rubber where it had been microwaved. Told the waiter James but nothing was done just said that he would let someone know. The salad cart was awful not everything had serving spoons so there was cross contamination. Place just doesn't look clean.

Came for breakfast, Rude waiters, no one checks on the continental food so everytime we went there was nothing we wanted and spent 5 minutes then waiting. Rubbish start to our day

Arrived at 3.30 & after being seated with a menu (I had to find the Early Burd menu myself as this wasn’t offered)totally ignored for 15 mins. Eventually waitress turned up with a very lacklustre attitude and food ordered and a drink. Waited another 20 mins for food which was incorrect. There was only about 10 people in the restaurant so not exactly rushed. No waitress returned for dessert order so didnt bother and brought one from Sainsbury’s instead.

Won’t be returning very disappointed with staff and general attitude. Dreadful service.

After visiting restaurant i noticed i had 2 payments made on my card.

£58.06 which was for my meal and drinks. 1 minute earlier there was a wireless payment for £22.77 for which was not anything to do with me and i did not in any way make a wireless payment, this was done by the waitress somehow using my debit card before handing me the machine for my actual payment that i did using chip and pin.

This is terrible and of course this is also fraud, i am not happy this has taken place and would like something done about this as i dont know what this is but it’s definitely not legal or allowed.
