•Maintaining and repairing fleet of holiday hire and day boats. •Answering call outs (potentially after business hours)Servicing and repairing private/share boats. •Occasionally aiding in yard duties (Pump outs, coal/gas deliveries, ect.)
Qualifications and Skills:
•Full uk driving licence •Relevant past experience and qualifications beneficial but not essential.

We had the most enjoyable experience on the narrow boat. We sailed the channel to the pub for lunch and sailed back home. The scenery was glorious and the experience was unforgettable. Highly recommend this experience.

The arrival was realxed and we was met with a warm welcome. Our instructor for our trek was Dave and he was fabulous. Any questions was we had about operating a Canal boat was expertly addressed with a lesson and time taken to go through doing a 3 point turn. We was graced with HazelHurst and she was faithful and looked after us during our time away. The boat was well presented, very clean and Dave was thorough through the checks. Having not been away for some 10years due to work, it was a beautiful experience. Thank you Heritage Narrow Boats - will be coming back soon. Bless you all. Ray Cilia and Sarah Williams.

Just returned from a great few days on the surprisingly lovely Macclesfield Canal on board Lothbury Lady - very relaxing (apart from the Bosley Locks...hard work but a great sense of achievement at the end of it!). The staff were very helpful and the tuition process was both informative and efficient , getting us onboard and away very speedily! We hope to be back!

I celebrated my 60th birthday on board. Fantastic day weather lovely. Stopped at pub on route and had dinner. carried on to the locks then turned around and came back. Perfect day, Perfect weather. Would do it again soon. Recommend to anyone to have a go.

Had an amazing weekend would definitely book for longer next time. Monty and Dave were great and looked after us when we got there and when we arrived back. Would recommend anybody to give this a go. Thank you for an amazing weekend ����

Had a holiday with friends on the Sherborne Prince last week and had an amazing time. The service provided by the team was excellent and I am definitely looking forward to my next canal holiday. 5* all round �

Had a day on Daydream, does take some concentration to steer but great fun, definitely recommended.

Excellent training and information upon arrival. First timers so taken down to first turning point on canal. Very active holiday and thoroughly enjoyed Bosley locks which can be done by 1 person. Narrowboat clean, warm and everything you need. Great holiday

The boats are in great condition & the staff have thought of everything on board from a cheese grater to a colander and even shot glasses. The Macclesfield canal is beautiful - so much more gorgeous than what I was expecting. Only one thing wrong! We didn't take enough people ... Doing 24 locks over two days is hard work, especially in the rain - so the more the merrier!!!

A fantastic week aboard Sherbourne Prince, lovely boat, plenty of storage, comfortable beds, boat was clean and smelt fresh, staff were very helpful and friendly,we will certainly book again.
