Hi We are wanting to collect empty clean yoghurt pots for a little project the skylark room is working on 😊 if you could save us your empty yoghurt pots rather than throwing them away thay would be brilliant - thank you 😊😊

We have been consulting with the children this week to plan our activities for the half term holiday - we have so many fun activities planned including talent shows, pizza making, sports activities, dance shows, chocolate fun baking, quizzes and lots lots more 🎉🎉🎉 please get in touch if you would like to book a place for your child at the holiday club. Today in the larks room we have been playing with skittles and using hand eye coordination to throw the balls to knock them down. Lots of excitement and encouragement for each other 😊🎾

Today the larks have had fun in the garden whilst mark making in the ice we found on the table 😊❄️we learnt and used new words including ice, cold, freezing.

Don’t forget it is our bake sale from Monday 🍰🧁 xx looking forward to seeing and tasting your cakes and buns ❤️❤️

Today the Larks have made shakers to celebrate Chinese New Year and also tried some Chinese food! 🍜🍱🍚

Today the Robins room have enjoyed creating the models shown on the cards out of Duplo to further develop our construction skills.

For the whole of next week Hessle Pre-School Nursery will be hosting a bake sale to raise money for Roux's Army. This is a very special cause to all of us here and any donations will be much appreciated. Also if you would like to bring in any baking then please feel free to do so 🍰😊

Today in the larks room we have been mark making with cotton buds, creating lines, circles and dots. We have been developing our pincer/tripod grip as well 😊🎨

This afternoon the Robins acted out the Gruffalo's child as part of their book of the month, the children loved using the masks and saying key phrases out of the book 🐭🐍🐺 "oh ho, oh no there's tracks in the snow!" " could this be the tail of the big bad mouse?"

Today the Robins have explored ice, we have discussed what it feels like and what needs to happen to it for us to get our toys out of it, we are now going to wait until after dinner to see what happens to it... ❄️

This morning the robins have had fun decorating Christmas biscuits and then eating them for their snack#christmascrafts🎄🎅🏻

Today the Robin's have enjoyed Christmas activities including sticking and glueing to make Christmas trees and enjoyed getting into the Christmas spirit by talking about their advent calendars and Christmas trees at home. They can't wait to bring home all their Christmas crafts!🎄🎁

This is “Di & Megan’s Star Tree” which is the "WE MADE THIS" tree out side of hull royal infirmary which the children in robins, the 0-2 year old garden unit and aces@penshurst made stars for ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s beginning to look a bit like Christmas 🎄🎄 x the Christmas fairies and elves have been hard at work tonight trimming up the nursery setting - lots more decorations to go up over the coming weeks and the children will be having lots of fun during our count down to Christmas 🎄🎉🎄🎉❤️ thank you too to the aces at Penshurst children who made the baby’s some lovely Christmas stockings and lanterns to decorate the garden unit xx
