High Haden Livery

We bought King nearly 3 years ago, put him in to livery as we definitely didn't know what we were doing. When we felt a little more confident we decided we ought to be looking after him ourselves so moved to DIY livery - great experience but showed us just how much goes in to looking after a horse.....loads. When I decided I couldn't cope any more we went to look at High Haden Livery, the yard we had heard was so great. After a few months luckily there was a space for King, which we jumped at, and we haven't looked back. Emily is the best, giving much needed advice and help, and Chris is definitely the best male yard owner ever �. The facilities are top notch and we feel very much at home, and we are confident that King is looked after in the best possible way. Everyone at HHL gets on so well, one big happy family, which Emily and Chris have strived towards and succeeded. There is also one other very special feature at HHL - Rupert - one super doggy who everyone loves and I definitely look forward to having a cuddle every day. The best yard !, (and in the last 30 years i've been to alot) Chris and Emily take exceptional care of my horse , meaning that i can concentrate on my working week or relax when i am away, knowing my horse is being looked after just as I would, thank you.

Lovely place to spend time! The horses receive such high quality care from the owners who are completely dedicated in providing the best facilities for the clients. Very friendly atmosphere, can't fault it!

Incredibly supportive family feel. We have been here for 5+ years, arriving as total beginners with our first horse. The horse's health and wellbeing is first priority and the owners are nurtured along the way. Excellent banter amongst all other liveries. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

I moved to HHL as my mare needed a routine that I couldn’t manage on DIY due to work commitments.. I moved my mare over a year ago and I wouldn’t go anywhere else, my horse loves it here and so do I, Emily and Chris go way above and beyond what they offer.. every horse is treated as an individual, all the horses needs are met to the highest of standards, and nothing is to much hassle. If you want your horse to have 5* care in a great stress free environment with great facilities this is the place for you..

I moved my little mare to High Haden a little under 2 months ago and could not be happier with the quality of the facilities and the top notch care Emily and Chris give her and all of the horses on the yard. There's no other place I'd trust to look after her to the standard I want for her round the clock. The liveries are a really friendly, supportive and helpful bunch too, I can't sing this yard's praises highly enough!!

High Haden Livery is the best yard we have ever been to and they are so very supportive of their clients.

HHL is Charlie's home, this is very important to me not being able to have him with me all the time, that he has a relaxed, comfortable place where I know he is well looked after.

HHL provide bespoke care for my horse, not a one size fits all approach, again very important to me and to him

HHL has a great support network and I love competing when I have Emily the owner by my side as our groom!

Friendly yard , great school , superb stables and facilities , Knowledgable caring owners . Bla bla bla sounds like many livery blogs . Except High Hayden is exceptional . When my horse got an abcess Emily had got the farrier . When horse decided to get choke at 11.30 on a saturday night the owners heard her in distress ,as they live on site , and got a vet whilst contacting me . Then I smash my leg and am unable to walk for 6 months not sure what I would have done without the support of the other owners and Emily ,Chris and their family . Massive thank you from a quirky mare and owner .

Excellent yard. The horses are so well cared for and the owners go 110% to help everyone. Fantastic atmosphere and a real family feel. The facilities are first class . X x x
