MICRODERMABRASION - HOW DOES IT WORK?
Your therapist will first cleanse your skin, then they use a specially designed handset to pass a fine jet of abrasive crystals over your skin. These crystals loosen dead skin cells and grime from the surface of your skin. The handset also has a gentle vacuum action, which sucks away the crystals and dead skin.
... HOW MANY WILL I NEED?
A course of SkinBase facials can vary from 4 up to 20 treatments for those with acne/acne scarring. You will start to see an improvement in the skin’s texture, feel and appearance after the first treatment. The facials should be performed every 7-10 days. A typical treatment is 30 minutes to an hour for a luxury MD facial.
