This homely, refurbished holiday cottage is set back off the road on farmland and is ideal for family or friends looking to discover the area. It is also suitable accommodation for those attending local weddings or events. It will comfortably fit six people and has a shower room and loo upstairs and a bathroom and loo downstairs.

There is a big farm house on the property lived in by family, so there is usually someone near to hand. You will be given keys and welcomed in by a family member.

A perfect location for all tastes; whether it be Snape Maltings (3 miles) for art and music lovers, or one of the delightful coastal resorts such as Aldeburgh (7 miles), Thorpeness (8 miles), Dunwich (12 miles) or Southwold (18 miles) for activities - sailing, swimming, fishing, crabbing, riding, walking, cycling, golf. A short drive to some delicious restaurants, atmospheric pubs and the renowned local Farm Shop. The local town of Saxmundham is just a couple of miles away, and has both a Waitrose and a Tesco's together with a number of charity shops and other quirky and offbeat addresses.

The cottage is conveniently positioned a couple of hundred metres off the A12. It is best accessed by car and there is of course ample free parking directly outside. The nearest big airports are Stansted and Norwich, which are both approximately one and a half hours away. The local Saxmundham train station has direct trains to London Liverpool Street. Journey time is two hours. There are coaches from Stansted to Ipswich, after which there are trains to Saxmundham.

Arrival time can sometimes be before 4pm subject to arrangement.
