the holiday park is excellent, the showers and toilets are very good and very well looked after. we always get a friendly reception from the staff . the view of the lake is fantastic and even better of a night when the islands are all lit up . if you want peace and quiet in lovely surrounding's then this is the place for you, and if you want something a bit more lively then you don't have to go far to places like clacton and walton. you have a very good caravan accessory shop on site and a very good cafe as well..... five stars from me
Yet another lovely weekend here even if your going to arrive late it not a problem they will come out any time to greet you and give you your gate passes and paperwork We have stayed at this wonderful place many times and will continue to do so Site is always spotless. Love the accessory shop always end up buying something we think "that would come in useful". We ordered our windbreakers from them few weeks ago and picked them up this weekend ( they do deliver as well though)
Yet again another lovely weekend at Homestead. Excellent site, excellent staff and they are always willing to help should you have a problem. Have made some lovely friends and look forward to seeing them all again next year.
What a beautiful site. We were on pitch 22 which was great. This was the first time we have ever been caravaning and everyone was so helpful from reception to the Lady and 2 guys in the shop who helped me out no end with all the bits a bobs I needed. Thank you All and cannot wait to return for the winter fair.
Stayed recently on a Rally. Very helpful staff, very cheerful and pleasant. The field we used was excellent. Ground was firm and well drained. No problem of getting stuck.
Second home. Love it.

ReAly nice place staff lovely clean toilets all facilities on site good lake on site well maintained and stocked ideal for all kinds of angling will be going back there

Love fishing here on a day ticket, a great stocked lake in quiet surroundings and very friendly staff
Just returned home from yet another glorious week at Homestead Lake Park . Site is well kept with large plots , toilet/shower block is very clean , cafe brilliant food and the fishing was good . Would recommend you take a look if you want a relaxed , clean , efficient and friendly site.
Just got back home from an 8 day stay at this wonderful Caravan Park,it is without doubt one of the best and cleanest sites we have stayed on in 20+ years of caravanning.
The fishing lake is very good and I had a great time fishing, and caught plenty of quality fish.
We are looking forward to our next visit
Just got back from 10 nights on this wonderful site, our first visit but not our last. Nothing too much trouble, staff very friendly, lovely quiet site a day the fishing was fantastic.

Homestead is the kind of site you will keep going back to. It's clean and well maintained. Friendly staff . I've had a problem with my caravan on two visits and if you speak to the right person ( Paul ) you get helpful advice and a smile.

First time we have visited and certainly won't be our last. A wonderfully kept site, and such lovely scenery. We had a lovely relaxing weekend here.
Been coming here since 2006 and it never disappoints...lovely place but fishing is temperemental but this week fishing has not disappoint caught loads of carp and a bream for the first time
