I can honestly say that these are some of the most enjoyable hours I have had on court. The children have really taken to tennis and are having an amazing time!

This week we had the first session with the children from the charity, Safety Net.
It’s a chance to give these kids an introduction to a sport they might otherwise never experience. They absolutely loved it.

Neil heard one of the kids say when told the session was the same time next week 'I wish it was next week, tomorrow'. Exactly how I felt about tennis at that age.
I think I'm looking forward to the next session as much as the children are!

The Tennisathon is only a month away! 😃
Spaces are steadily filling up, so be quick to book your 1hr slot to support the Martlets Hospice. All you need to do to take part is find a 4, organise a time with me and donate your £60 (£15 each)
... Your £15 also gets you a free ticket for the raffle. Those wanting to better their chances to win some great prizes can buy more from me in the coming weeks, or on the day.

Morning Everyone, As hopefully all of you know, Honeywood Tennis is now based at two locations - Hove Park & St Ann's.
The 'HPTA' run the courts at Hove Park and they now have a Facebook page! It's the first place you will see updates, news on events, 'meet the HPTA Q&A', player profiles, court pictures etc.

Starting this Friday, 3rd May, there will be a weekly beginners session from 6pm for 1hr at Hove Park. Rackets can be provided.
This is the perfect time to learn how to play tennis ready for the Summer!

I will be starting 'Technique Clinics' soon. There will be a series of 1hr sessions where we focus on a certain skill each week. I'd like to hear what skills you would like the groups to focus on, so please comment below your suggestions. Examples are - slices, drop shots, kick serves, footwork. I'll be posting the weekly schedule once I have a selection of ideas.
