We left hopton today :( we all had a brilliant holiday staff were lovely friendly helpful. The site is so beautiful and clean loads to do... We are booking to baxk again next year! Well done to the hopton staff you are all doing a great job � x

We leave tomorrow and I can honestly say we've had a brilliant time. The holiday village is lovely and plenty to do both within the holiday village and outside as well. We had a little issue with our caravan but that was easily solved straight away. I highly recommend Hopton Holiday Village regardkess of age you will have a great time. whilst myself and our little famiky don't want to leave we will definatly return at some point.

We have had a lovely 10days staying here this June! Greeted by lovely ladies and Bradley bear which my girls loved! Site is very clean and we loved how quite and lovely all the visitors and caravan owners were around the Troop area especially with my girls we felt very welcome and have had the best time on site and exploring attractions off site and their is plenty to visit around the park, we have had nothing but happy smiley staff for the whole duration of our holiday! We Are looking forward to returning next year :) well done Hopton holiday village all your staff deserve a huge pay on the back especially a big shout out to all the funstar staff who help to keep our little ones entertained every night .

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday here last week! The park is beautiful, not a drop of litter in sight, the facilities were great and our caravan was gorgeous too. The only thing I had an issue with was that the crazy golf was meant to be included in the price however on arrival I was told I had to pay for it, wasn’t a big issue at all to be fair, we were playing golf either way. And the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, mainly Hayley, Lee and Aaron. There was a lady in the owners lounge that we had a chat to as well, but her name escaped me! (She was from St Albans) she was very warm and friendly towards us too. Thankyou for making our holiday! � will be back again soon!

This is our 5th year at Hopton. The indoor pool facility is realy clean and tidy. The facilities are great. The ducks swimming in the outdoor pool caused amusement as it was too cold to go swimming.Nice to see staff members litter picking every day ensuring the park is clean. See ya again next year x

My family and I came to celebrate my daughter's 6th Birthday this weekend. We had a wonderful time, and my daughter said it has been the best birthday ever. After trying to win her an 'Incredibles 2' teddy from the claw machine I decided to give up and buy her one as it is her Birthday, the staff member in the arcade gave my daughter a free teddy as a birthday present, so she had Violet and Dash, thank you for making a little girl so happy!! Our caravan was clean and we'll kept, the grounds are beautifully kept and there is so much to do on site as a family, from the facilities to the organised children's and family activities. There is a stunning beach, a beautiful hidden treasures! The evening entertainment is brilliant, and the staff are very friendly. We watched the England v Sweden match in the showbar on Saturday and the atmosphere was brilliant. Thank you so much for a great stay, I'll definitely be coming back, the dive hour drive there and four hour drive home has been worth it.

Just returned from a fab weekend... everything you would expect from a Haven holiday really, swimming pool fantastically clean. I lost my little boy onsite and the staff exceeded all expectations when finding him... go here for your holidays! You can be assured that your family are well looked after.. special thank you to Carly.. thank you so much �

Just got back from a 4 night stay. Lovely place, I've stayed at quite a few haven sites & this one is now my 2nd favourite. First time we haven't left the park all week, weather wasn't great but plenty to do on site. All areas were very clean. Would love to come back in better weather & see the beach ( the tide was always in!) Good location to not far from Great Yarmouth or supermarkets & restaurants. Very impressed.

Just back from a great mini break at Hopton. We stayed in a private rental which was fantastic and kept lovely. The site itself was perfect for what we needed, the pool was perfect for our kids and had a great flume too. The entertainment in the show bar was great every night, our 4 year old and 1 year old loved it especially the fun stars. Natalie, Emily and Zara were amazing with them. We will definitely be returning again in the future.

Just back from a 4 night stay with my two and half year old. What can I say this park was clean, staff were friendly and lots of things for the children to do. Entertainment was very good and show house was very clean. The food at the main bar was excellent as was the on site fish and chips. We had a standard newer caravan and it was absolutely lovely and clean and more than enough space. Even though rained most week still had an excellent time.

Been here a few times now and we always have a lovely caravan. Camp very clean and modern. Right on beach and if good weather couldn’t ask for better location xx

Absolutely loved it ! Lovely spacious caravan with every utensil and gadget games every thing Ull need ! Shops close by arcades kids night life was brilliant ! Thanks to Rebecca for the caravan ,, can't wait to go bk , we have just booked a 2nd holiday there can't wait to go bk 😍 Xxx

On arrival upgraded from a Presteigne to Platinum caravan, overlooking the sea.

We had a few small issues whilst there but they were dealt with professionally and efficiently. All staff were fantastic during our stay.

Children absolutely loved the pool (even though it was very busy) and the show bar in the evening.

I would be more than happy to return.

Brilliant stay. Just returned from 4 days with 2 children. Customer service was second to none. Courtesy call on arrival, extra linen on arrival, spotless van (Prestige, looked brand new and modern), entertainment is always hit and miss at these places but this was better than expected. The comedian was really good. Drinks are expensive, queues at times but it is what it is. The restaurant service was very good, food good. Clean. Pool was good, although changing area and drying areas were very small. Can't imagine what this would be like at peak season, maybe the outside pool will help. Loads of activities and facilities for kids of all ages.... no chance for them to be bored x

We hired privately again but won't be purchasing the entertainment passes next year at £120/£140 for 4 passes to pay to go to the bar/restaurant or arcade where you'll spend money is crazy.



We only went in the pool once & never went back in after other kids were playing with balls which were coming very close to hitting us & jumping in, swimming underwater & kicking me in the back. There is only 1 disabled changing room which also has baby changing facilities in & after queing ages for the room to become free after my swim, a muscly & perfectly fit man came out. I questioned him & asked if he realised this was a disabled changing room & was he disabled & he said sorry love, no I'm not & walked off. A woman was changing her baby on the floor in the corridor in front of disabled/baby changing room waiting for the baby changing facilities in this room & I was waiting for the use of the support bars & standing there shivering on crutches yet this bloke couldn't give a toss. I suggested to the pool staff & main receptionists, if this door could be locked & key available at the pool desk then those that don't need the changing room will be less inclined to ask for key & staff will be able to see if they have a baby or most disabilities. I was told that this is something that only head office could authorise, so in other words nothing will be done about it. Whilst talking about the pool the floor was disgusting & there was dirt & hair everywhere (even in the pool I couldn't swim without getting floating loose strands of hair caught in my fingers). The pool staff would regularly walk round with a squeegy broom (didn't see hose or any cleaning fluids) & just push the balls of hair towards the drains, but never pick them up & they would just get trodden around the poolside again by swimmers. But I suppose these conditions were better than last year when I noticed someone had thrown a used tampon into the corridor of the changing rooms & I had to report it to the pool staff who were dismayed that someone would do this & picked it up. I didn't stay to find out whether the floor was cleaned with chemicals as it was bodily fluids. The 1 & only time I went swimmimg during our stay this year, 2 days later my foot started turning red & hot & after visiting a local GP I was told I've got a foot infection & now on 7 days of antibiotics.



The lady that cleans the tables & sweeps the floor in the showbar does a wonderful job & I must say the way some people behaved in that room was disgraceful. The table we went to sit at had popcorn all over the floor & chairs & the tables all sticky from spilt drinks. The lady came & swept the floor & wiped the table & cleared away the glasses. Why do people have to disrespect the place, I bet they don't leave their own homes like that. Another woman at a different table I watched change her baby on her lap & throw the used baby wipes on the floor where she had placed the used nappy, most of the wipes were landing in the nappy but some weren't & were touching the carpet. I'm sure the showbar had baby changing facilities, so why she couldn't change her baby there I don't know.



I suppose some of the faults at the park are due to the guests & are not the fault of Haven. But next year when we book privately, we will make our own entertainment, bring in our own drinks & use the arcades over the road which has free entry, until Haven make improvements to the entertainment complex.

The last 2 years have been fab but this year was a let down. Most we have paid for a caravan so far and the state of it wasn't good. They didn't seem fussed when i asked about help with ants as we had to throw food away. They were even in the microwave! The sofas were stained, part of the work top hanging off and had to tune tv ourselves in the evening. Most of the staff were friendly which was nice. Debating whether to go again next year.

Okay so I'm going to be honest. In fairness I generally love coming here as we have done for a few years now. I find it quiet and relaxing compared to most sites I've been to. We used to get a good service from.the staff and we're well looked after. However this Easter we were like something they'd wiped off their shoe and accused of "planning" a nasty accident my husband had just because previously our friends rang and pointed out steps of caravan were slippery but we're ignored. All we wanted was good old fashioned customer service and an explanation regarding the comments we made. We always leave the caravans in a good state and respect them and pay an awful lot of money to hire a decent caravan but this time extremely disappointed, even unwrapped food left in cupboards when I was trying to put mine away. Awful service. Great shame as really liked coming here. Told them we weren't booking again and they didn't care less! As long as they are getting their money and you have no complaints you'll be happy here. No first aid given either. Very poor considering it was the steps to the show caravans! So glad it wasn't an elderly person or child! Great shame.

Entertainment was great nice and clean indoor swimming pool out side pool could of done with a bit of a clean before they allowed everyone to go in was lovely and warm thou ...

was NOT happy that someone entered our caravan while we was out we have 2 little doggies if they had got out I would not of been happy made us too worried to leave the caravan unattended for the rest of the holiday .. on check in we got out keys we fount our caravan and a women that checks the caravans said we can’t go in till it’s had it’s fire alarm tested we asked her for a time n she said 5ish!!!!! Traveling from Derbyshire we was all tied and just wanted to rest .. would we come back prob not

We hired privately again but won't be purchasing the entertainment passes next year at £120/£140 for 4 passes to pay to go to the bar/restaurant or arcade where you'll spend money is crazy.



We only went in the pool once & never went back in after other kids were playing with balls which were coming very close to hitting us & jumping in, swimming underwater & kicking me in the back. There is only 1 disabled changing room which also has baby changing facilities in & after queing ages for the room to become free after my swim, a muscly & perfectly fit man came out. I questioned him & asked if he realised this was a disabled changing room & was he disabled & he said sorry love, no I'm not & walked off. A woman was changing her baby on the floor in the corridor in front of disabled/baby changing room waiting for the baby changing facilities in this room & I was waiting for the use of the support bars & standing there shivering on crutches yet this bloke couldn't give a toss. I suggested to the pool staff & main receptionists, if this door could be locked & key available at the pool desk then those that don't need the changing room will be less inclined to ask for key & staff will be able to see if they have a baby or most disabilities. I was told that this is something that only head office could authorise, so in other words nothing will be done about it. Whilst talking about the pool the floor was disgusting & there was dirt & hair everywhere (even in the pool I couldn't swim without getting floating loose strands of hair caught in my fingers). The pool staff would regularly walk round with a squeegy broom (didn't see hose or any cleaning fluids) & just push the balls of hair towards the drains, but never pick them up & they would just get trodden around the poolside again by swimmers. But I suppose these conditions were better than last year when I noticed someone had thrown a used tampon into the corridor of the changing rooms & I had to report it to the pool staff who were dismayed that someone would do this & picked it up. I didn't stay to find out whether the floor was cleaned with chemicals as it was bodily fluids. The 1 & only time I went swimmimg during our stay this year, 2 days later my foot started turning red & hot & after visiting a local GP I was told I've got a foot infection & now on 7 days of antibiotics.



The lady that cleans the tables & sweeps the floor in the showbar does a wonderful job & I must say the way some people behaved in that room was disgraceful. The table we went to sit at had popcorn all over the floor & chairs & the tables all sticky from spilt drinks. The lady came & swept the floor & wiped the table & cleared away the glasses. Why do people have to disrespect the place, I bet they don't leave their own homes like that. Another woman at a different table I watched change her baby on her lap & throw the used baby wipes on the floor where she had placed the used nappy, most of the wipes were landing in the nappy but some weren't & were touching the carpet. I'm sure the showbar had baby changing facilities, so why she couldn't change her baby there I don't know.



I suppose some of the faults at the park are due to the guests & are not the fault of Haven. But next year when we book privately, we will make our own entertainment, bring in our own drinks & use the arcades over the road which has free entry, until Haven make improvements to the entertainment complex.

The last 2 years have been fab but this year was a let down. Most we have paid for a caravan so far and the state of it wasn't good. They didn't seem fussed when i asked about help with ants as we had to throw food away. They were even in the microwave! The sofas were stained, part of the work top hanging off and had to tune tv ourselves in the evening. Most of the staff were friendly which was nice. Debating whether to go again next year.

Okay so I'm going to be honest. In fairness I generally love coming here as we have done for a few years now. I find it quiet and relaxing compared to most sites I've been to. We used to get a good service from.the staff and we're well looked after. However this Easter we were like something they'd wiped off their shoe and accused of "planning" a nasty accident my husband had just because previously our friends rang and pointed out steps of caravan were slippery but we're ignored. All we wanted was good old fashioned customer service and an explanation regarding the comments we made. We always leave the caravans in a good state and respect them and pay an awful lot of money to hire a decent caravan but this time extremely disappointed, even unwrapped food left in cupboards when I was trying to put mine away. Awful service. Great shame as really liked coming here. Told them we weren't booking again and they didn't care less! As long as they are getting their money and you have no complaints you'll be happy here. No first aid given either. Very poor considering it was the steps to the show caravans! So glad it wasn't an elderly person or child! Great shame.

Entertainment was great nice and clean indoor swimming pool out side pool could of done with a bit of a clean before they allowed everyone to go in was lovely and warm thou ...

was NOT happy that someone entered our caravan while we was out we have 2 little doggies if they had got out I would not of been happy made us too worried to leave the caravan unattended for the rest of the holiday .. on check in we got out keys we fount our caravan and a women that checks the caravans said we can’t go in till it’s had it’s fire alarm tested we asked her for a time n she said 5ish!!!!! Traveling from Derbyshire we was all tied and just wanted to rest .. would we come back prob not

Caravan was nice but restaurant we ordered meals and drinks on two occasions sat down waiting for our meals only to be told ten minutes later it was of the menu was told the manager would come and see us and return the money for the meal but the waiter turned up with money no sign of manager I think they need to sort out there computer systems so they no when things have run out let reception know won't be going back there
