Micro Ring Hair Extensions

The Micro Ring installation and removal system is one of the easiest hair extension systems available on the market. These lightweight, almost undetectable metal rings are applied to your own hair; the hair extension is then clamped tightly inside the ring holding it securely to your natural hair. These tiny rings, which are coloured to blend in with your own hair will not be seen through. This is a cold method which uses no glues, heat or chemicals of any sort. The rings come in a range of different hair colours and are covered with a smooth coating which provides a comfortable cushion for hair. The rings clamp securely in place and will not slip out even during the most challenging of activities.

Your new hair will last between 3 - 6 months, however the exact amout of time will depend on YOU, and how you care for them.

Following the below guidelines will ensure you get the maximum usage from your extensions, and regular maintenance appointments will keep your extensions looking their best. I offer these at £15 ph, and providing you have looked after your extensions well this shouldn't take any longer than 1 hour.

You must be prepared to spend longer styling your hair now you have hair extensions, they take more time and effort and will need to be looked after correctly to prolong the life of your new hair. But its worth the extra time and effort.

** YOU MUST REMEMBER HAIR EXTENSIONS ARE HIGH MAINTENANCE **

Your new extensions may cause some discomfort for the first week as you are adjusting to the extra weight and thickness. This could include scalp tenderness, itching or mild headache. The first few nights may also be uncomfortable but this soon passes. In the first few weeks you may lose the odd extension or possibly experience some shedding while the extensions are settling down, but this is normal and does settle down.

Your extensions are 100% human hair, so can be coloured, cut and styled with the use of hairdryers, curling tongs or straightners.

Maintenance is advised every 6-8 weeks. The exact amount of time will depend on how the extensions have been cared for and your own hair growth. The maintenance will consist of moving all strands back up to the root, putting back in your lost strands, replacing any micro rings where necessary and general tidying up of all bonds.

Do’s and Don’t’s

DO Brush your hair extensions on a regular basis to ensure they do not matt

DO Ensure you thoroughly rinse all traces of shampoo and conditioner after washing your hair

DO Invest in a good extension brush and an extension detangling comb

DO Be extremely gentle with your extensions at all times

DO Keep extensions tied up during swimming (both pool and sea) , if you do get your hair wet you must ensure you rinse out any chlorine or sea water as soon as possible as they can cause your extensions to dry out, in the same way they dry out your own natural hair.

DO Tie your extensions back at night, prefferbly a loose plait or pony tails to minimise any tangles in the morning.

DO use heat protection spray before drying, straightening or curling.

DON’T tie your hair back to tightly, this can pull on the bonds causing them to weaken.

DON'T put conditioner onto the roots of your hair

DON’T use any of the following: - HOT OILS, ANTI-DANDRUFF SHAMPOOS or HEAD LICE TREATMENTS, these are extremely harsh and can cause damage to the bonds of your extensions causing them to loosen.

Removal is reccommended to be carried out by your hair extension technician.
