Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stress free evening while we celebrated my daughter's 18th Birthday tonight. Food was lovely.. All the waiting staff very friendly and welcoming �

Food was really nice which was surprising for the price. Another bonus was they actually understand that when you ask for well done steak that you want we'll done steak and don't serve you something full of blood. Whole place was clean and fresh. Staff were lovely and helpful and dealt really well with the couple of issues we had. Will definitely be returning.

Fantastic food, excellent service and value for money. Nearly walked past the place until stopping to read the menu, the 3 course special menu is fantastic as is the normal menu, loved the design of the place too, the bubble walls are certainly something different, will definitely be going back ���

Coming from Essex having not visited lowestoft for a couple of years. Booked a table for the Saturday of bank holiday weekend via email. A lovely response and really recommend booking. An amazing evening. Food spot on. Portions huge. Waitress great. And the bill much lower than expected. A fab night. If anything negative I would say if you like steak medium....ask for medium rare. Slightly overcooked but it's not a steak house and everything was so good it's s minor point

Beautiful meal out ! The place is certainly an experience. Trendy decor and stylish. Meals all well represented and staff were very friendly and helpful. We will certainly be back. It's a thumbs up from us �

Visited for lunch yesterday with friends and had a fantastic meal. My last visit with family prior to this wasn't very good however and the food quality wasn't up to the usual standard with frozen onion rings etc and not the usual freshly battered ones but I tried it again and it was excellent. All food cooked to perfection. Hopefully this standard will be maintained and I look forward to returning with the family in the future.

Summertime and it shuts in the afternoon told me to go to spoons not good

Staff was good the meal was very good got plenty for your money the only let down was the chips they looked and tasted warm up would definitely come back but will have a jacket potato instead

Lovely ambient staff nice friendly helpful staff. Got the menu to discover they don’t have a kids menu. I asked and they said no we don’t have a menu for kids so had to order a large adult burger for my 8 year old which is a waste of money as he only ate half portions are big for an adult never mind a child. Apart from that is was good. Please sort this out as we will not be back.

Great place. Service was also very good however................the food wasn't great. The lamb shank was well and truly cooked on the outside, very tough. But, tbf..........you get what you pay for. Would definitely go again but, stay away from the lamb shank. 🎅🏼

We have been going for almost 5 years every Christmas but this year was a huge disappointment. No Christmas crackers on the table. We had to ask for them. The waitress was ok but got the vibes she didn’t want to be there. No sofa and no fire on. We normally take our drinks and sit on the sofa in front of the fire. Ladies toilets did not flush except one. The machine that gives paper towels was either empty or not working. The menu had changed compared to previous years and was poor. Sadly we left and went to another nearby place which had better atmosphere. After discussion with the ladies we will not be returning next year. One major point: it was definitely NOT wheelchair friendly.

Thought we’d go for a meal at iconic, walked in lady behind the bar told us we’re full!!!

Place was empty! When I say empty I mean not one other person in there.

Asked can we sit on sofa and have a drink, reply we’ll you can but we’re full.

I then asked if we could eat only to be told all tables booked!

That may be but at the moment they’re empty!

It was 5pm

Well you can sit at that table but you’ll have to be gone by 7.30!!

Ergh yes I wasn’t thinking of staying all night, sat down to be told we couldn’t order until 5.30!

Another lady walked in was told the same but not offered a table!

So left

Little tip for the future, get as many sittings as possible perhaps get people who come in at 5 to order at 5.15 rather than saying you can’t order until 5 then not take our order until 5.45

The food was lovely and was served quick... but the staff let the whole place down, they are so rude and miserable ! The waiters were fine but the waitresses were very snappy and blunt and made us feel like and inconvenience !

Meal was terrible. Complained as steak was tough.offered a free dessert as they admitted liability. Said we didn't want a dessert so offered us £4 off bill from a meal I hadn't eaten & was told in future go to the Wetherspoons. Paid only for my husband's meal but refused to pay for a meal I hadn't eaten. Always wanted to go here for a meal but won't ever go back there.staff very rude !!!!

Booked a table for 8 people for 6pm & preordered our meals. Took 40 minutes to get our mains, waited for waitress to come to order more drinks but went to the bar only to be told to go back to our table. Then had to find a waitress to clear our mains (which were 'ok') & ask for our preordered desserts only to wait a further 30 minutes. A simple meal with preorder took over 2 hours & it wasn't that busy. Won't be going back - style over service. Very poor show!

There is nothing quite like cold food with your salad and a hard jacket potato. But that's okay as they heated the potato up and gave it back to me, it was hot but still hard, what do they not understand about cooking? Never ever again.
