I joined Phoenix in May 2001 after seeing the beautiful greeting cards at a local show. I remember that lovely warm, cosy, happy feeling of being surrounded by things that I loved and I definitely wanted more of that feeling! Sixteen years on and I still love it and now, although medically retired from my everyday salaried job due to life-long spinal problems, I look to my card-selling business as a way of adding to my pension and for socialising. Where else am I going to earn whilst drinking tea and eating cake?! Now with the help of my husband I do fetes, fayres, shows, charity events, garden parties and coffee mornings as well as have baskets of cards temporarily in staff rooms of schools and local nursing homes etc, I still find the time to relax with my family and look after our new cat, Archie.

Sadly Phoenix went into administration in August 2017 but out of the ashes a flamingo chick was born! Two of the original directors have started again with the top earning Phoenix Trader to make Flamingo Paperie.

Still the same high quality greeting cards and the same smiley customer service from me.

When life takes over or I need a breather, Flamingo Paperie goes on the back burner. When Flamingo Paperie officially launches in January 2018, a website will be available for customers to view for themselves.
